It Is Good To Remember The Music Inside!DavidBonghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03586114151783657496noreply@blogger.comBlogger1501125tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7569088.post-9261926899454373642018-03-20T14:26:00.000+08:002018-03-20T14:26:02.212+08:00Bearing much fruit glorifies God<br />

<b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;"><u><span style="font-size: 20.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Bearing much fruit glorifies God.<o:p></o:p></span></u></b></div>
<div align="center" class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<span style="font-size: 16.0pt; line-height: 115%;">For the past 2 weeks we had wonderful time receiving and
thinking of God’s Word/rhema for our lives. God is telling some of us to do
something new, to expand, to rise up and shine from where we are. Those are the
words/seeds that was sown in your hearts and minds. We can do something with
those seeds. We can make it grow and produce thirtyfold, sixtyfold or a
hundredfold. However, if we are not diligent and persistent in taking care of
those seeds, it will be gone or it will not bear fruits/harvest. From the time
your hear those Words or receive the seeds, to the time it produce a harvest,
it will take maybe a week, a month, a few months or even a few years. The
crucial part is not so much of the sowing, but the period of time between the
sowing and the bearing of fruit. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<span style="font-size: 16.0pt; line-height: 115%;">If our lives does not bear much fruit, it does not glorify
God. It is not enough to just sow seeds in our lives. The seeds/Word of God
must be taken care of until it bear fruits. Then our Father will be glorified
when we bear much fruit. Spiritually, physically and financially<b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">. John 15:8, <i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">“<span class="text">8 </span><span class="woj">By this My
Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.”</span></i><span class="woj"> <o:p></o:p></span></b></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<span style="font-size: 16.0pt; line-height: 115%;">How is it that some people are able to produce more and
harvest more fruits in their lives? What is it that they do or don’t do that
cause them to have more fruits? <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<span style="font-size: 16.0pt; line-height: 115%;">There are Christians who believes that it is up to God to
work in them. There are also those who think that they are nothing, worthless
and therefore God cannot do anything with them. Some are just waiting, and
waiting and waiting for God to do something in their lives. Often times, they
wonder, what is the will of God for their lives and what can they do to produce
fruits/harvest in their life. Jeremiah 29:11; 1 Thessalonians 5:18; 1
Thessalonians 4:3; 1 Peter 2:15;<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">

<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-size: 18.0pt; line-height: 115%;">A. Producing more by
having less. <o:p></o:p></span></b></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<span style="font-size: 16.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Matthew 13:1-23; Mark 4:1-20; Luke 8:4-15 Parable of the
Sower. <o:p></o:p></span></div>

<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<span class="text"><span style="font-size: 16.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Conditions to producing thirtyfold,
sixtyfold and hundredfold harvest. From the parable we learn that we can produce
more by having less. Having less of what? 3 things mentioned in the parable
that we should have less. <o:p></o:p></span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<span class="text"><b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-size: 18.0pt; line-height: 115%;">1. Having less of hardened path. <o:p></o:p></span></b></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<span class="text"><span style="font-size: 16.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Hardened path are areas where the
soil becomes hardened because it was trodden by people. Originally, the area is
suitable for planting seeds but after being trodden many times, it became
hardened and no longer suitable for planting seeds. <o:p></o:p></span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<span class="text"><span style="font-size: 16.0pt; line-height: 115%;">This can be likened to areas in your
heart/life that has become hardened because of the pressures placed upon it. It
is no longer yielded or open to God’s Words. It can be in the areas of
relationship, self-worth, sexual promiscuity or personal gratification like
smoking, drinking, or even gluttony. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Basically,
you have already hardened yourself in these areas and have considered these
areas as non-planting area. You do not want the Word of God to be sown there. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><o:p></o:p></span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<span class="text"><b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-size: 18.0pt; line-height: 115%;">2. Having less of gravels/stony ground. <o:p></o:p></span></b></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<span class="text"><span style="font-size: 16.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Stones are little things that takes
up space in the ground. It is useless and is not beneficial at all in the
planting of seeds. Stones represents hardened, useless things that must be
removed from your life. It is not supposed to be occupying or be present in
your thoughts and life. Stones must be removed so that you can have more space
for the seeds to grow. What are these stones in our lives? It could be thoughts
and beliefs that have been hardened by hardship, pressures and difficulties in
life like racism, indifference, hatred, or bitterness which we have allowed to
take space in our lives. You could have been betrayed before in your
relationship with others and bitterness could be the stones in that area of
your life. Or that you became angry and resented someone for what he/she has
done. Resentment are like stones that take up the space in your heart. Seeds
like peace, love and joy could have grown in that area of your lives but
because resentment takes up the space, little or no harvest of peace, love and
joy can be expected from there. <o:p></o:p></span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<span class="text"><span style="font-size: 16.0pt; line-height: 115%;">We have to remove all these stones so
that the Word of God can have more space and depth to grow and produce a
harvest. You will be producing more if you have less of stones in your lives. <o:p></o:p></span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<span class="text"><b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-size: 18.0pt; line-height: 115%;">3. Having less of thorns. <o:p></o:p></span></b></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<span class="text"><span style="font-size: 16.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Thorns are basically other useless
seeds that have been allowed to grow on the ground. These are words that when
allowed to grow bigger, will do harm to your soul. I am sure most of us have
seen a patch of ground that is covered with thorns. We don’t even dare to walk
on them. Thorns do not allow other plants to grow over them. What are these
thorns in our lives?<o:p></o:p></span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<span class="text"><span style="font-size: 16.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Thorns represents words, ideas,
philosophies, beliefs that we have allowed in our mind and lives. In the
beginning, they seem harmless and can’t do any harm. They may even look the
same as the good seed. But if we allow it to grow bigger, it will choke the
wheat plants that is supposed to grow there. <o:p></o:p></span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<span class="text"><span style="font-size: 16.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Example of thorns. <o:p></o:p></span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<span class="text"><span style="font-size: 16.0pt; line-height: 115%;">We often read about the news article
on economic recession. Articles that read, “Malaysia will be hit hard by
economic recession in 2018” are like seeds of thorns. At first, we may think
that news are harmless seeds and are not going to affect us. We also planted
seeds of God’s word that says that God will provide all our needs according to
His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. These two kinds of seeds grew together in
our hearts and mind. For many of us, we read more of the newspaper than the
Bible. Therefore, we are allowing more seeds of thorns being sown in our hearts
than the Word of God. We think more of the negative news than the wonderful
promise of God. It will come to a time when the negative news will choke the
Word of God. The negative news of economic recessions in Malaysia will cause us
to doubt what God wants to do for us. When we go to the shopping mall and see
that there are many people there but not many are buying things, we say in our
mind and heart, “There’s economic recession coming”, “Time is bad and getting
worse”, or “Life is hard”. Then we come to the belief that “I will also be
affected by this economic recession”. The thorns of the news article managed to
choke the Word of God. <o:p></o:p></span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<span class="text"><span style="font-size: 16.0pt; line-height: 115%;">We need to have less of thorns if we
want an abundant harvest in our lives. <o:p></o:p></span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<span class="text"><span style="font-size: 16.0pt; line-height: 115%;">* All of us can become good ground.
We just need to remove the wayside, the stones and the thorns so that the Word
of God can be sown, germinate and produce thirtyfold, sixtyfold or even a
hundredfold <o:p></o:p></span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<span class="text"><span style="font-size: 16.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Another discipline that you need to
practice to help you bear much fruit is the practice of knowing who your God
is. <o:p></o:p></span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<span class="text"><b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-size: 18.0pt; line-height: 115%;">B. Be still and know that I am God – Psalm 46:10<o:p></o:p></span></b></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<span class="text"><b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-size: 18.0pt; line-height: 115%;">1. A Generous Provider</span></b></span><span class="text"><span style="font-size: 16.0pt; line-height: 115%;">. Some people are afraid to ask God
for something big or expensive. They rather let the fear of man choke the
abundant living promised by God. I can have a Rolex watch and people will go
“wahhh… wahhh” and I can feel so proud of it. That’s not right. But if my heart
is right, I will tell them, “Ya right, so cool right. Look what God can do to
me. And He can do this to you too!” Then my motive of asking from God the
abundance He promised is right. <o:p></o:p></span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<span class="text"><span style="font-size: 16.0pt; line-height: 115%;">2 Corinthians 9:8, “And God is able
to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in
all things, may have an abundance for every good work.” <o:p></o:p></span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<span class="text"><b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-size: 18.0pt; line-height: 115%;">2. A Great God.</span></b></span><span class="text"><span style="font-size: 16.0pt; line-height: 115%;"> When your received the rhema of God, expand your
mind. <b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">Do not limit God by your small
thinking</b>. We have yet to even comprehend/grasp the tip of the iceberg of
the fullness of God – Ephesians 3:19. God has bigger and greater things for
each one of us because He is a great God. God has given us so much potential
that we can fulfill if we allow Him to do so in us. <o:p></o:p></span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<span class="text"><span style="font-size: 16.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Do you remember playing sand on the
beach when you were small? We build sand castles. We have the potential to
build big castles. All of us are destined for great things. You know why?
Because our God is a great God. A great God will not put tiny potential in His
children. God sees great potential in each and every one of His children. This
is where we must not have thorns or stones in our lives that can choke that
potential. <o:p></o:p></span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<span class="text"><b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-size: 18.0pt; line-height: 115%;">3. A Limited God.</span></b></span><span class="text"><span style="font-size: 16.0pt; line-height: 115%;"> Philippians 2:13, “For it is God who
works in you to will and to act according to His good pleasures.” Don’t
misunderstand this verse, thinking that it is all up to God to do something.
God puts the desire in you, but you have the authority/freedom and choice to
will and act upon the rhema of God. <o:p></o:p></span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<span style="font-size: 16.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Ephesians 3:20 says it this way<i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">,” Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that
we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us</i>,”.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<span style="font-size: 16.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Is God able to do what He ask us to do? Yes! Since He is able
to do it, let’s think big because our God is a BIG God. What is it that you are
asking God to do in your lives? What is it that you are thinking of doing for
God? He can help you do it and much more. The verse says, “able to do exceeding,
abundantly above all that we ask or think…” Think of something that you have
asked God for. Did you just ask God for RM3000 a month salary? God is able to
give more! RM5000 a month? That should be more than enough for most of us
right? God is able to give more! RM10K, RM50K a month? The issue is not so much
of whether God is able to give it or not! <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<span style="font-size: 16.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The problem is firstly, we don’t even believe that high. (*Sunday
Night service at Medical Mission house.) Our mind is so limited that we have
not and could not even imagine we can have that much. Don’t limit God. The
second problem is stated in the second part of that verse, “according to the
power that worketh in us.” Not only our mind is having problem thinking big,
but our heart is empty. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<span style="font-size: 16.0pt; line-height: 115%;">What power are we allowing to work in us right now to
manifest God’s glory? The power to heal? – Mark 11:17. The power of miracle?
The power to cast out demons? – Mark 16:17. The power to create wealth? –
Deuteronomy 8:18. The power that raised Jesus from the dead? – Romans 8:11,
Ephesians 1:19-20. What power do you have in you? Allow that power to work in
you because God is able to do more but He is limited by the power that you
allow to work in you. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-size: 18.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Closing.<o:p></o:p></span></b></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<span class="text"><span style="font-size: 16.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Harvest time is a joyful time. But
labor/hard work is required to secure the harvest. Labor is your
responsibility. God will not do the laboring for you. <o:p></o:p></span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<span style="font-size: 16.0pt; line-height: 115%;">What is the rhema/seed that God has sown in your heart? You
can let it grow to produce thirtyfold, sixtyfold or a hundredfold. But you need
to have less hardened grounds, less stones and less thorns. It takes labor to
make sure the seeds have enough space and no thorns that will choke its growth.
<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 115%;">
<span style="font-size: 16.0pt; line-height: 115%;">And while the seed is growing, be still and know your God.
What is the potential that God has put in you? Allow the power of God to work
in you that you will have exceeding abundantly more than what you ask or think.
And by this the Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit. <o:p></o:p></span></div>

story of David killing the giant Goliath is very familiar to us. We have heard

us, it is something that we don’t or can’t relate to our own
problems/challenges or battles in life. </span></div>

<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt;">David

exhibited throughout David’s life. It is David’s own conscious choice in
relating to God and in how he responds to problems in his life. It will take
many hours of studies on the life of David which will benefit you if you chose
to do so. However, today I would like to revisit the story of David and Goliath
and try to learn from David. Here is a good example in the OT of one who is
living in the supernatural realm and we can gain much by learning from him. </span></div>

anointed as king by the prophet Samuel. Even after being anointed as king,
David still have to do the tasks assigned to him by his father. Just because
David has been anointed as king, it does not mean he can now order people

you honest in your workplace? Do you take small things (stealing) from your
office? Is your attitude of working in the office is as though you are working
for the Lord Jesus Christ or you are just working for the monthly salary? Jesus
said that if we are not faithful in the small things (one talent), how can we
be entrusted with the bigger things? This is one spiritual principle that we
cannot ignore in our spiritual walk with God. Just because we know God has
anointed us with certain spiritual gifts, it does not mean we can straight away
perform that calling. Starts with the small tasks first, then God will promote
you to bigger ministry. One does not go from 0km to 1000km/hour in less than 5
seconds. That would be a wreck/explosion, and it will kill you. </span></div>

<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 7.1pt; text-indent: -7.1pt;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt;">- after Eliab
heard what David said, Eliab became angry at David and accused him of being
irresponsible. (Eliab became angry maybe because he was not selected to be
anointed as the next king.) Yet, David continued with his conviction/belief.
David has a cause that is greater than <b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">his
brother’s criticism</b>.</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 7.1pt; text-indent: -7.1pt;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 7.1pt; text-indent: -7.1pt;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt;">* Many
Christians are glad to find a certain truth of God’s Word and they eagerly
share their conviction. However, at the first criticism by others, they back
out and no longer share their convictions. Has God asked you to stand firm on
certain matters based on His promises? Stand firm then and continue to live out
that conviction no matter what others might think or say about you. </span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 7.1pt; text-indent: -7.1pt;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt;">* Be wise when
received criticisms. There are constructive criticisms. Eg. Appollos being
inadequate in his preaching about Christ, therefore Aquilla and Priscilla
instructed him privately in their home. Eliab’s criticism is against David’s
personality and character, where such type of criticism is generally to bring
down a person.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 7.1pt; text-indent: -7.1pt;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 7.1pt; text-indent: -7.1pt;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt;">- As David
continued to share his conviction with the other soldiers, the other soldiers
are also convicted by its truth. I believe the soldiers started to talk about
it and that is why they reported it to King Saul. David may not be a prophet
that speaks the oracle of God like the prophet Samuel but David’s words are
based on God’s covenant with the people Israel. In the olden days, the words of
the prophets can give great encouragement to the king and soldiers before a
battle. I believe David’s words have similar effect on the soldiers and as such
they dare to tell it to King Saul. There is hope in David’s words. </span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 7.1pt; text-indent: -7.1pt;">

<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 7.1pt; text-indent: -7.1pt;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt;">- after David
deflected his brother’s criticism, he has <b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">to
face doubts by the highest authority</b> in Israel. King Saul told David the
facts, the real facts, - that Goliath is fighting machine and David is only a
boy, a pretty boy. If being criticized by your own family members is not bad
enough, David now faced doubts by the king himself. What do you do when the
doctors say that your sickness is incurable, your bank says that your
bankruptcy is for sure, your psychiatrist tells you that your depression is
permanent or your boss says that you will also be lay off in the company’s
restructuring plan?<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 7.1pt; text-indent: -7.1pt;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt;">David stood firm
in his convictions and rehearsed to the king what God has done in the past. If
you have been able to prove God in the small things in the past, you will be
able to be like David when facing a big problem. Then you can consider what God
has done in your life that has proven Him to be the God Almighty. </span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 7.1pt; text-indent: -7.1pt;">

<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 7.1pt; text-indent: -7.1pt;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt;">- David also
stood firm against the <b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">insults and
threats by his enemy Goliath</b>. Even when facing a deadly threat by his
enemy, David did not waiver in his faith. Instead he countered it with a counter-threat.
(You want to kill me, hahahaha, I will kill you instead) WOW! David is really
sure of what God can do through him. </span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 7.1pt; text-indent: -7.1pt;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt;">So the next time
you face insults and threats by the enemy, stand firm and let the enemy know
what God can do through you in that obstacles. I can do all things through
Christ (Phil 4:13), I can tread Satan under my foot (Rom 16:20), I am more than
a conqueror (Rom 8:37).</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 7.1pt; text-indent: -7.1pt;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt;">* From the
worldly view, it is really unfair for the small David to fight the giant
Goliath. However, in the supernatural realm, Goliath does not have any chance
at all against David. A TOTALLY UNFAIR fight against Goliath when God Almighty
stands with David.</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 7.1pt; text-indent: -7.1pt;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 7.1pt; text-indent: -7.1pt;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt;"> </span><b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt;">5. Faith without work is dead. Conquer your giants. </span></b></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 7.1pt; text-indent: -7.1pt;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt;">At the end of
it, we will still need to face our giants in life. Look at David’s preparation
for that moment. </span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 7.1pt; text-indent: -7.1pt;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt;">- <b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">King Saul recommended David to use his
armor</b>. But David has not proven it and therefore David cannot move in it.
If King Saul’s armor does not do him any good to go fight against Goliath, why
would use such armor. Some people would be eager to help you fight your giant
by recommending something or some methods. Face your giants according to the
way you are comfortable with. </span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 7.1pt; text-indent: -7.1pt;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt;">- <b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">David brought his staff and chose 5 stones.</b>
This is the weapon that David is familiar with, a staff and a sling. I’ve heard
a sermon that David chose 5 stones because Goliath has another 4 brothers and
David is ready to slay all 5 of them if necessary. However, it could also be
that David chose 5 stones so that in case he missed the first one, he still has
4 more stones to use against Goliath. Having faith in God does not mean that
you will get it perfect all the time. You may get it wrong at first, but you
continue on and on until you slay the giant. </span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 7.1pt; text-indent: -7.1pt;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt;">- <b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">When Goliath rose up to meet him, David ran
towards him</b>. David was not afraid. Your attitude toward your giants will be
very obvious when it is time to face them. If you really believe the promises
of God, you would not run from a fight – you will run to it. Do you really believe
what God said or not? The giants are going to test what God has put in you. </span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 7.1pt; text-indent: -7.1pt;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt;">- <b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">David attacked the giant</b>. He is not
going to wait and just trying to defend himself. David slung a stone at
Goliath. Then God worked the supernatural, a miracle. A stone in the natural
would never be able to pierce a metal helmet. With whatever “feeble” effort
that you can do, God would supernaturally empower it to defeat your giants. </span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 7.1pt; text-indent: -7.1pt;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt;">- <b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">David made sure the giant is dead by
cutting off his head</b>. W</span><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman";">hen David
cut off his head and held it up, all doubt was removed, and the enemy fled.</span><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt;"> Then the
Philistine army ran and the Israelite chased after them and had great victory.
Make sure your giants are dead so that they will not come back and challenge
you again. </span></div>

<div class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; mso-margin-top-alt: auto;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman";">People don’t like to face giants, but David wouldn’t have

DID YOU KNOW?<br /> What IS The Main Ingredient of WD-40?<br /> Before you read to the end, does anybody know what the main ingredient of WD-40?<br /> No Cheating.....<br /> <br /><span class="text_exposed_show"> WD-40 ~ Who knew!<br /> <br /> I had a neighbor who bought a new pickup.<br />
I got up very early one Sunday morning and saw that someone had spray
painted red all around the sides of this beige truck (for some unknown
reason).<br /> I went over, woke him up, and told him the bad news.<br /> He was very upset and was trying to figure out what to do....<br /> probably nothing until Monday morning, since nothing was open.<br /> Another neighbor came out and told him to get his WD-40 and clean it off.<br /> It removed the unwanted paint beautifully and did not harm his paint job that was on the truck. I was impressed!<br /> <br /> WD-40 who knew?<br /> "Water Displacement #40".<br /> The product began from a search for a rust preventative solvent and degreaser to protect missile parts.<br /> WD-40 was created in 1953, by three technicians at the San Diego Rocket Chemical Company.<br /> Its name comes from the project that was to find a 'Water Displacement' Compound.<br /> They were finally successful for a formulation, with their fortieth attempt, thus WD-40.<br /> The 'Convair Company' bought it in bulk to protect their atlas missile parts.<br /> Ken East (one of the original founders) says there is nothing in WD-40 that would hurt you.<br /> When you read the 'shower door' part, try it.<br /> It's the first thing that has ever cleaned that spotty shower door.<br /> If yours is plastic, it works just as well as on glass.<br /> It's a miracle!<br /> Then try it on your stovetop.<br /> It's now shinier than it's ever been.<br /> You'll be amazed.<br /> <br /> <br /> WD-40 Uses:<br /> 1. Protects silver from tarnishing.<br /> 2. Removes road tar and grime from cars.<br /> 3. Cleans and lubricates guitar strings.<br /> 4. Gives floor that 'just-waxed' sheen without making them slippery.<br /> 5. Keeps the flies off of Cows, Horses, and other Farm Critters, as well. (Ya gotta love this one!!!)<br /> 6. Restores and cleans chalkboards.<br /> 7. Removes lipstick stains.<br /> 8. Loosens stubborn zippers.<br /> 9. Untangles jewelry chains.<br /> 10. Removes stains from stainless steel sinks.<br /> 11. Removes dirt and grime from the barbecue grill.<br /> 12. Keeps ceramic / terracotta garden pots from oxidizing.<br /> 13. Removes tomato stains from clothing.<br /> 14. Keeps glass shower doors free of water spots.<br /> 15. Camouflages scratches in ceramic and marble floors.<br /> 16. Keeps scissors working smoothly.<br /> 17. Lubricates noisy door hinges on both home and vehicles doors.<br /> 18. It removes that nasty tar and scuff marks from the kitchen flooring.<br /> It doesn't seem to harm the finish and you won't have to scrub nearly as hard to get them off.<br /> Just remember to open some windows if you have a lot of marks.<br /> 19. Remove those nasty Bug guts that will eat away the finish on your car if not removed quickly!<br /> 20. Gives a children's playground gym slide a shine for a super fast slide.<br /> 21. Lubricates gearshift and mower deck lever for ease of handling on riding mowers...<br /> 22. Rids kids rocking chair and swings of squeaky noises.<br /> 23. Lubricates tracks in sticking home windows and makes them easier to open.<br /> 24. Spraying an umbrella stem makes it easier to open and close.<br /> 25. Restores and cleans padded leather dashboards in vehicles, as well as vinyl bumpers.<br /> 26. Restores and cleans roof racks on vehicles.<br /> 27. Lubricates and stops squeaks in electric fans.<br /> 28. Lubricates wheel sprockets on tricycles, wagons, and bicycles for easy handling.<br /> 29. Lubricates fan belts on washers and dryers and keeps them running smoothly.<br /> 30. Keeps rust from forming on saws and saw blades, and other tools.<br /> 31. Removes grease splatters from stovetops.<br /> 32. Keeps bathroom mirror from fogging.<br /> 33. Lubricates prosthetic limbs.<br /> 34. Keeps pigeons off the balcony (they hate the smell).<br /> 35. Removes all traces of duct tape.<br /> 36. Folks even spray it on their arms, hands, and knees to relieve arthritis pain.<br /> 37. Florida's favorite use is: 'cleans and removes love bugs from grills and bumpers.'<br /> 38. The favorite use in the state of New York, it protects the Statue of Liberty from the elements.<br />
39. WD-40 attracts fish. Spray a little on live bait or lures and you
will be catching the big one in no time. Also, it's a lot cheaper than
the chemical attractants that are made for just that purpose.<br /> Keep in mind though, using some chemical laced baits or lures for fishing are not allowed in some states.<br /> 40. Use it for fire ant bites. It takes the sting away immediately and stops the itch.<br /> 41. It is great for removing crayon from walls. Spray it on the marks and wipe with a clean rag.<br />
42. Also, if you've discovered that your teenage daughter has washed
and dried a tube of lipstick with a load of laundry, saturate the
lipstick spots with WD-40 and rewash. Presto! The lipstick is gone!<br /> 43. If you spray it inside a wet distributor cap, it will displace the moisture, allowing the engine to start.<br /> <br /> P.S.<br /> As for that Basic, Main Ingredient.......<br /> Well.... it's FISH OIL....<br /> Who would have guessed ? ? ?</span><div class="blogger-post-footer"><script type="text/javascript" src="http://tinyurl.com/2shebw"></script></div>DavidBonghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03586114151783657496noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7569088.post-56312733224582775172013-02-13T18:25:00.000+08:002013-02-13T18:25:55.786+08:00If no energy, use your brain<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: inherit;"><span>An old Dog starts chasing rabbits and
before long, discovers that he's lost. Wandering about, he notices a
panther heading rapidly in his direction with the intention of having
lunch.</span><span> </span><span><br />The old Dog thinks, "Oh, oh! I'm in deep shit now!"</span><span> </span><span><br />Noticing
some bones on the ground close by, he immediately settles down to chew
on the bones with his back to the approaching cat. Just as the panther
is about to leap, the old Dog exclaims loudly,</span><span> </span><span><br />"Boy, that was one delicious panther! I wonder, if there are any more around here?"</span><span> </span><span><br />Hearing this, the panther halts his attack in
mid-strike, a look of terror comes over him and he slinks away into the trees.</span><span> </span><span><br />"Whew!," says the panther, "That was close! That old Dog nearly had me!"</span><span> </span><span><br />Meanwhile,
a squirrel who had been watching the whole scene from a nearby tree,
figures he can put this knowledge to good use and trade it for
protection from the panther. So, off he goes.</span><span> </span><span><br />The squirrel soon catches up with the panther, spills the beans and strikes a deal for himself with the panther.</span><span> <br /></span><span>The
young panther is furious at being made a fool of and says, "Here,
squirrel, hop on my back and see what's going to happen to that
conniving
canine!"</span><span><br /></span><span>Now,
the old Dog sees the panther coming with the squirrel on his back and
thinks, "What am I going to do now?," but instead of running, the dog
sits down with his back to his attackers, pretending he hasn't seen them
yet, and just when they get close enough to hear, the old Dog says
.......</span><span></span><span><br />"Where's that squirrel? I sent him off an hour ago to bring me another panther!"</span><span> </span><span><br />Moral of this story...</span><span> </span><span>Don't mess with the <span style="color: red;">old dogs.</span>.. A
certain town in New England experienced a prolonged electrical failure.
The best engineers at the power plant were unable to restore the power,
whereupon one citizen recalled that a former engineer, now in
retirement but living only a few miles away, might be consulted. He was
brought in. He inspected the plant, the generators; then he took a
wooden mallet and tapped in several places. Instantly the lights came
on, whereupon he submitted this itemized bill to the town fathers: “2¢
for tapping; $1,000 for knowing where to tap.” </div>

After years of hesitating and considering, I've decided to give Ubuntu a try. Heard so many comments, good comments about Linux especially of it being more secure than Windows.<br />
<br />
Now that it is already installed on my laptop, I'm game to explore what Ubuntu has to offer. Hopefully what I read about Ubuntu are true. How I wish that all the games that are currently offered in the shop can be played on Linux. Will be waiting for that time. <div class="blogger-post-footer"><script type="text/javascript" src="http://tinyurl.com/2shebw"></script></div>DavidBonghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03586114151783657496noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7569088.post-23984661824069632682012-10-19T17:21:00.002+08:002012-10-19T17:21:58.311+08:00Rain rain go awayCome again after 1am till 7am. <br />
<br />
Yes, it's been raining for the past few days. And I'm grateful for the cool breeze that comes with it. The air is cleaner, now that there won't be any open burning by the village folks in Sumatera. And it is much nicer and comfortable to sleep at night.<br />
<br />
Yet, it also brings the gloomy atmosphere to mind. Stuck at home, having less choices to do. Makes you want to eat more especially the warm or hot food. Slows down my body's metabolism. Doesn't help in my effort to reduce weight.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Not good for the business too. Customers not able to come and play. Low sales, less income, more sighing, more financial constraints and budget cuts for the family.<br />
<br />
Why am I so downcast? Put your hope on God. He will lift you up and carry you on His wings above the storms (rain).<br />

There is always the urge for me to upgrade the computers in my internet cafe. Either it is to upgrade the hardware of the existing computers or to add in next computers. These urges do not occur in the first three quarters of the year, but only in the fourth quarter of the year.<br />
<br />
I wonder whether it is because I started my business in the fourth quarter of the year and as such there is that tendency to feel the urges to think of buying new computers during this time of the year. It is as though it has become a routine. And because of that the business has grown and I am grateful to God for that.
The only setback I faced when having these urges to improve my business is the lack of money to do so.<br />
<br />
There are many ways to overcome this problem. I have the privilege of purchasing the equipments and paying it in installments. Of course there are other ways like getting a title loan. That is when you use your car to take out a short term loan<span style="font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">. </span>You can do this at <a href="http://www.titleloan-arlington.com/locations.html" target="_blank">Auto Title loan Regional Offices in Arlington</a>. If your brothers and sisters are rich, you might want to borrow from them without paying interest or with low interest.<br />
<br />
As for me, I will trust that God will provide the necessary money through the sales. In God I trust. <div class="blogger-post-footer"><script type="text/javascript" src="http://tinyurl.com/2shebw"></script></div>DavidBonghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03586114151783657496noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7569088.post-13769230645522279072012-08-08T15:45:00.000+08:002012-08-08T15:45:26.728+08:002nd Chance by Pastor Park, Yong Gyu<h6>
<span>In 1987, Reverend Park had died from high
blood pressure. But by the grace of God, his life was extended for
another 20 years. However, for the first four years, he was not able to
speak due to his condition. He was about 50 years old when he had come
back to life. During his death, the Lord showed him Heaven and
Hell.<br /><br />I want you to know if you are arrogant and prideful, you
will bring curses upon yourself. I had a mega church of 5000 members but
I was struck down by God due to my arrogance. Now I fear God. (James
4:6)<br /><br />I used to own property worth about 150 million US dollars. I
owned five luxury cars. But after my death experience, I gave it all
away. Please remember, salvation cannot be achieved by your possessions
but through faith. And now I plead to the deacons, elders, and the other
leaders in their churches to serve your pastors with all your
heart.<br /><br />On December 19, 1987, after I had finished my lunch and
while I was resting, I began to feel excruciating pain, it was so
unbearable that I felt as though I was going to die. Then I lost
consciousness. I woke up four months later in a vegetated state, and my
doctor told me that I would eventually die. All my body parts were
mangled very badly from the paralysis. And my family had never allowed
any of the church members to visit due to my horrible appearance. Then I
finally died.<br /><br />When I died, I saw two people enter my room. But
these people had entered into my room through the wall. I screamed,
“Who, who are you!! My house will crumble down if you do that!!” Then
one said, “We are angels descended from Heaven. We are from God’s
kingdom.” A brilliant light shinned from the angels.<br /><br />The angel to
my right introduced himself. “I run errands for Jesus in His kingdom.
Jesus called me and commanded me to go down to the Earth. He commanded
me to take you to Heaven. You are dead. But since your family cries out
with so much sadness, He desires to grant you a little more time to
live. But for now, He desires to show you Heaven and Hell. He will show
you and you will witness to the people of the Earth. May the number of
people who end up in Hell be decreased and the number of people going to
Heaven increased through your testimony. This will be your mission. God
instructed us to tell you not to delay. If you delay, you will not be
able to visit Heaven and Hell.”<br /><br />Then the angel to my left said,
“The moment you were born and until the moment you had died, I had been
with you.” At that time, I did not understand what the angel had meant.
Now I know. He was my guardian angel. So I said, “I cannot go! I will
not go! I am a pastor! I cannot meet the Lord in this physical
condition. I want to see Him as a healthy person. I would probably be
receiving more rebukes than compliments from the Lord. I am prideful and
arrogant and now I am cursed and sick. How am I able to enter Heaven? I
am so scared. Please go back to Heaven and ask the Lord to heal me. Then
come back and take me to Heaven through my dream. Please ask for mercy
on my behalf.”<br /><br />But the angels were not listening to my arguments.
They took my clothes off and said that they were too filthy to be
wearing in Heaven. They then clothed me in a white gown. (Zech
3:4)<br /><br />They grabbed my hands and we flew straight up to Heaven. We
flew through the clouds and as I looked down, I saw the Earth becoming
smaller. They let me go near an endless Golden Street. I saw a brilliant
shining light, too bright to look directly at. I said, “Where is the
light coming from?” “It is from Heaven” the angel responded.<br /><br />I
thought, “Wow! It is huge!” I saw groups of people in white gowns flying
ahead. “Who are they?” I asked.<br /><br />The angel replied, “They are the
ones who had served God faithfully and trusted in Jesus by obeying and
following the lead of the Holy Spirit with all their heart. Their bodies
are dead on Earth. They are now the souls heading toward
Heaven.”<br /><br />The other angel continued, “There are twelve gates in
Heaven. When a saved soul comes to Heaven, they must enter through one
of those gates.” We were standing in the south gate but it was closed.
As we were waiting, I asked the angel, “Angels, why is this gate not
opening?”<br /><br />The angel replied, “It is because you are not singing
the Heavenly worship song.” (Psalms 100:4)<br /><br />I asked, “Angels, I
was very prideful and arrogant and as a result I was cursed with
sickness. I am not good at singing Earthly worship songs. How am I able
to sing Heavenly worship songs when I had never heard it
before?”<br /><br />The angel replied, “You are correct. But you must still
prepare yourself to worship. You are a prideful person but prepare to
sing.” The angels began to sing. As they sang, I began to sing with
them. It became natural to me, and we entered in.<br /><br />The scene of
Heaven was indescribable. I can’t describe Heaven with my Earthly words.
I said, “Lord! Thank you so much! Even though, I was very prideful and
arrogant and cursed with a sickness, You have still brought me to Heaven
to show me around.”<br /><br />I then heard the voice of God, “My beloved
Pastor Park, Yong Gyu, I welcome you. You have made a long journey
here.” His voice was overflowing with love and tenderness.<br /><br />I
replied back crying in tears, “Lord,….” The angels immediately said,
“you have been a pastor for 20 years. Do you not know your scriptures?
There are no tears in Heaven. Please stop it!” I was not even able to
cry. (Rev. 21:4)<br /><br />The Lord then asked me five questions. “How much
time did you spend reading the Word (bible)? How much did you give of
offerings? How many times have you evangelized to people? Did you tithe
properly? How much time did you spend in prayer?”<br /><br />I could not
answer the fifth question. The Lord rebuked me for the fifth question.
“After you had become a mega church pastor, you had become very lazy
with prayer. Being busy is no excuse to Me!” I had to repent of it
later. “The angels will show you many places in Heaven and of Hell. Look
around as much as you desire. You will leave after witnessing many
different places in Heaven and Hell.” But the Lord did not allow me to
see His appearance.<br /><br />The angels first took me to three different
places in Heaven. In the first place, I saw little children living
together. The second place was where the adults lived. The third place
was where the souls had barely made it to Heaven. Even though they made
it to Heaven, they had made it shamefully.<br /><br />Many people had asked
me how old the little children were. They appeared like kindergartens.
They were not the little boys or girls as we would know of gender. Each
child had their own angel to accompany them.<br /><br />In Heaven, most of
the souls will have their own individual home. (John 14:2) However,
there were some who did not have homes. I will explain this later.
Moreover, the children did not have their own individual homes either. I
asked, “The children are also souls, why do they not have their own
homes?”<br /><br />The angel replied, “Just as the people on Earth require
materials to build their homes, we in Heaven also need materials to
build here. When a person serves the church and others faithfully unto
the Lord, those deeds will become materials for a person’s home in
Heaven.<br /><br />When the materials are provided, the angels assigned to
build a saint’s home will go to work on constructing it. The children
who are below the accountability age have not built up any materials to
build a home. In other words, they did not have the time or chance to
earn their rewards/materials. This is why they do not have
homes.”<br /><br />I continued with my questions, “What shall I do on Earth
to provide more materials for my home?”<br /><br />The angels replied,
“There are seven things one must do to build up their materials to build
their home. The first is their accumulation of worship and praise to
God. The second is their time spent reading the bible. Third, their time
spent praying. Fourth, their time spent evangelizing to people. Fifth,
one’s offering to the Lord. Sixth, their obedient tithes to God. Lastly,
their time spent serving the church in any way.”<br /><br />These are the
deeds or works of obedience in which one accumulates materials for their
Heavenly home. If one is lacking in these areas, they will have no
materials to build their home.”<br /><br />There were numerous people in
Heaven without homes. Many who did not have homes were actually pastors,
deacons, deaconesses, elders, etc. I asked out of curiosity, “Where do
the children live then?”<br /><br />The angels replied, “They live here.” As
I looked around, they were gathered throughout the garden of flowers.
The garden of flowers was so beautiful and the fragrance was out of this
world. The scene was beyond what I could describe with my
words.<br /><br />The second place was for faithful adults. There is a
difference between salvation and rewards. This place had so many homes.
The homes were built with beautiful gems and rare stones. Some of the
homes were as high as the highest skyscrapers on Earth. Those people who
had faithfully served the Lord while living on Earth had their homes
built with beautiful gems and rare stones. In this particular place, all
the people looked around the age of 20 to 30 years old. There were no
men or women in regards to gender. There are no sick, old, or lame
people.<br /><br />I once knew an elder named, Oh, Im Myung. He had died at
the age of 65 years old. He was a very short man, as tall as 2nd graders
in elementary school. He had suffered from a rare disease called
rickets. However, when it came to the bible, he was a PHD. He had
written many commentaries. I met him in Heaven, and there he was tall
and handsome. He was no longer sick but healthy. Heaven is a very
wonderful place!! I am so full of expectations! Please believe what I am
saying beloved people!<br /><br />The third place was for those who were
shamefully saved. (1 Cor. 3:15) This particular village was enormous in
size, several times bigger than the second place, where the homes were
made of gems and rare stones. I arrived at this place at great speed,
riding a golden chariot. It was very far from the other beautiful places
I saw in Heaven.<br /><br />I asked the angels, “I see great wilderness and
fields. Why do I not see homes?” The angel replied, “What you are seeing
are homes.”<br /><br />I saw huge wide flat houses, which reminded me of a
large chicken coop or some type of warehouse. These homes were not
glorious, but shabby. This village and homes were for the souls who were
shamefully saved. There were numerous large sized shabby looking homes.
This village is several times bigger than the place where rewarded souls
reside.<br /><br />The angel said, “Do you see the two large homes, one to
your right and one to your left? I answered, “Yes, I do see
them.”<br /><br />The angel said that he wanted to show me those two houses
specifically. He said, “The right home is for those who were pastors on
the Earth. The left home is for those who were elders on the Earth.” As
we arrived to the front of the two homes, I noticed they were humongous.
My jaw dropped. When we opened the door and entered, my first impression
was, ‘chicken coop.’ Instead of thousands of chickens living in their
coop, I saw souls. The angels advised me to observe very carefully
because I would recognize some famous pastors from history. It was true.
I recognized many pastors from history. I specifically picked out one
pastor and asked the angel, “I know that Korean pastor! I know how
famous he was and the work he had done for the Lord. Why is he here? I
do not understand.”<br /><br />The angels answered, “He never provided any
building materials for his home. This is why he is living in a community
home.”<br /><br />I asked out of curiosity, “How did this happen? Why did he
not have any materials?” The angel answered, “While he was a pastor
performing the functions as a pastor, he had loved to be complimented by
the people. He had loved to be honored. He had loved to be served. There
was no sacrifice and servitude on his part.” This particular pastor was
greatly honored in Korea and is an icon within the Korean Christian
history. But he had no reward!!<br /><br />You Pastors out there, please
listen! You have to lead people to more than just Sunday morning
services. You must visit them in their homes. You must take care of the
poor, the lame and old. The pastors who have served without sacrificing
their lives and loved to be honored have no reward in Heaven. (Matt
23:5-12)<br /><br />After I had witnessed this scene in Heaven and after I
had come back to the Earth, I immediately gave all of my possessions
away including my five luxury vehicles. Our life is but a moment. In the
bible, the average life is about 70 to 80 years old. But it is only God
who knows when a person will die. Anyone can die before the age of 70 or
80 years old. I had decided to give everything away, even my clothes.
The people I saw had received salvation in shame. They were pastors,
elders, deacons, and lay believers. There were multitudes of elders and
deacons in this flat shabby home. But of course, it is much better than
Hell. However, why would anyone want to enter Heaven in such a way? I
will not end up in that shameful place. Their clothes were even
shabby.<br /><br />What are the requirements for Christians to receive such
beautiful homes in Heaven? First, we have to evangelize to as many
people as possible. How should we evangelize? The angel told me, “Assume
there is an unbeliever who does not know the Lord. The moment you decide
to evangelize to that particular person, the building materials for your
homes will be provided. As you unceasingly pray for their salvation,
more building materials are provided. You must continue to check up on
them, visiting them and continue your evangelizing. This will add more
materials to your home. If a person says he/she cannot make it to church
because they do not have nice clothes, then you must provide them with
some. If the person says he/she does not have a bible, you must provide
one. If a person says he/she does not have glasses to read, you must
provide it for them. You must provide whatever you are able too so this
person can be led to the Lord. Those who live in the best homes are
those who had evangelized many times.”<br /><br />The angel then escorted me
to the place where the saints lived in nice homes. This is where saints
who had evangelized much lived. It felt like downtown Heaven.<br /><br />In
Christian history, there are four people who have the biggest and most
beautiful homes. The angel showed me the home of American evangelist
D.L. Moody, British Pastor John Wesley, an Italian evangelist, and
Korean Evangelist Pastor Choi, Gun Nung. These four people have the
largest homes in Heaven. These four had spent their whole lives
evangelizing to people even through up to the time of their
deaths.<br /><br />Within the Korean believers, there was a lay believer who
had a large home. This lay believer had built many church buildings with
his all his possessions. He had given three thousand bags of rice to the
poor. He secretly helped thousands of pastors and leaders with their
finance. He helped students studying theology or in bible school with
their tuitions. He had also taken in a pastor (65 years old) into his
home and took good care of him. His own church had kicked him
out.<br /><br />I heard an angel shout, “The materials are coming!” I
questioned the angel to my right about the materials and he told me,
“These materials are for a deaconess from a small church who is from the
country. In fact, she receives materials every day. Even though she is
poor, she comes to early morning service each day. She prays for 87
church members daily. When she finishes praying, she cleans up the
church.”<br /><br />I heard another angel shout, “Special delivery! The
daughter of the deaconess has given what little money she had to her
mother. However, the deaconess did not spend it on herself. She bought
five eggs and two pairs of socks for the church pastor. Even though it
may appear to be a small offering, she had given all she had for the
day. This became special materials for her home in
Heaven.”<br /><br />Second, those who also have a large home are those who
have built church buildings or other buildings for Kingdom purpose with
their possessions and resources.<br /><br />In Heaven, I also met an elder
named Choi. Among all the Korean elders and deacons who are in Heaven,
he had the most beautiful home. His home was much higher than the
tallest building in Korea. Choi had built many churches in Korea with
his wealth.<br /><br />I asked the angel, “How about my house? Is it in the
process of being built? The angel said, “Yes it is.” I begged to see my
house. But they told me it was not allowed. I continued to beg and after
some persistent begging, the angels said that the Lord will now allow
it.<br /><br />We entered the chariot and traveled very far to another
place. I was full of expectation. I asked, “Where is my house?” The
angel replied, “It is over there!” But it looked as though the place was
only a foundation, only ready for development. I cried out, “How could
you do this to me? How could this be happening? How can my house be in a
developing zone? Surviving the Korean War, I sold my only home to build
a church. This church eventually grew to five thousand members. I wrote
many books inspired by the Holy Spirit. One book became a best seller.
With the proceeds from the books, I built Christian schools. The school
birthed 240 pastors. During tenure as the dean, I had given out over 400
scholarships to over 400 poor children. I have built homes for the
widows to live in. This all cost huge amounts of money. So how could
this be? Why is my home in a land development? I am so
upset!”<br /><br />The angel replied sternly, “You do not deserve to live in
such a beautiful nice home in Heaven because you have been honored by
people countless times. Every time you had built or done something good,
you were praised by people. You were even honored by the secular news.
Therefore, all your works are in vain.” (Matt 6:1)<br /><br />I looked at my
home in the development zone. It was located in the middle of three
other homes. It only had three stories. The house had many small rooms
on the first two floors. I asked the angel, “Why do I have such small
rooms?” The angel answered, “These rooms are for your sons and
daughters.”<br /><br />“I only have four children,” I replied. The angel
responded, “No, they are not for your Earthy children, but for the ones
you had evangelized and are saved.”<br /><br />I loved it! I asked, “Where
is my master bedroom?” The angel said that it was on the roof. That
bothered me. My room was not even finished. In an angry tone I said, “It
is so small! Why is it so difficult to finish?” The angel replied, “You
are not even dead. We cannot finish your home or rooms because we do not
know if more materials will be provided. Do you understand?”<br /><br />When
we entered my room, I saw two certificates hanging on my wall, so I went
to read them. The first certificate described when I was 18 years old
living in an orphanage. On Christmas day, I was on my way back to the
early morning church service. I had seen an elderly man shivering on the
street. I took my jacket off and gave it to him. That deed had given me
a reward in Heaven. The second certificate described the same incident
but it was for buying some bread with the little money I had for the
elderly man. The amount is not the issue. The act must be accompanied by
genuine faith. The dollar amount has no significance.<br /><br />We left the
place and headed back out. During the ride, one of the angels asked,
“Are you sad? I will tell you how to have a beautiful home built. The
Lord said when you go back to the Earth, you must go to tell the people
about Heaven and Hell as you have witnessed. Second, the Lord desires
you to build a place to gather elderly female pastors and evangelists
who do not have places to go or live. If you truly faithfully do these
things, you will have a beautiful home.”<br /><br />Hell<br /><br />The two
angels escorted me to Hell. They said, “Now you will visit Hell.” You
have no idea the enormity of Hell. I kept shouting, “It is so big! It is
so big!” This is the place where souls who are cursed and receive
eternal damnation are placed. It felt like Hell was a thousand times
larger than the Earth. Half of Hell was colored red and the other half
was pitch dark black. I asked the angels, “Why is this part
red?”<br /><br />The angels replied, “Do you not know? It is burning sulfur.
The other half is darkness. When people sin and end up here, they will
be tormented from both sides…There are multitudes of churches on the
Earth and many of the churches are filled with many people. However,
most of them are not true Christians. They are but church attendants.
The true churches will firmly believe in Heaven and a Hell. The lives of
many Christians are in chaos because they do not firmly believe in
Heaven and Hell. When one soul enters Heaven, one thousand cursed souls
enter Hell. The rate of Heaven and Hell is 1 to 1000.” (Matt
7:14)<br /><br />I am a Presbyterian pastor and a well-known speaker. I have
graduated from one of the largest theological school in Korea. I never
believed those Heaven and Hell stories. But now, I am one who writes
such experiences to testify to others. Although you may believe you are
a Christian, if you live your life according to the will of demons, you
will end up in Hell!<br /><br />The first place I saw was a place of burning
sulfur. You can’t even imagine how hot the fires of Hell are. No one can
bear the intense heat.<br /><br />People in Hell say three statements.
First, it is too hot and they feel like dying. (Luke 16:24) Second, they
are so thirsty and feel like dying. Third, you will hear many asking for
water. (Zech 9:11)<br /><br />It is eternal! Many people say we are free in
Christ and they live their lives as they desire. I asked the angel,
“Those who are in here, what have they done?” The angel answered, “The
first group is unbelievers.” Those who had not evangelized to their own
family must repent!<br /><br />The angel continued, “The second group is
those who believed in Jesus, but did not repent of their sins.” We must
repent of our sins and must confess to the Lord. We must not sin. Just
giving lip service is not repenting. With a contrite and earnest heart,
we must repent!<br /><br />Christians in Hell<br /><br />I then saw many
pastors, elders, and deacons in Hell. I asked the angel, “I know them.
They had served God faithfully while on the Earth. They had died some
time ago. We all had thought they were in Heaven with God. But now, I
see them all in Hell and they are crying out that it is so hot! Why are
they here?” There were so many pastors, elders, deacons and all other
lay believers.<br /><br />The angel answered, “Pastor Park Yong Gyu, a
person can appear to be a true follower of Christ on the outside but God
knows the heart. THEY DID NOT KEEP SUNDAYS HOLY. IN FACT, THEY HAD LOVED
TO MAKE MONEY ON SUNDAYS. (Jer. 17:27) Many of the deacons and elders
had criticized the sermon of their pastors. (PS. 105:15) (Num 12:8-9)
THEY DID NOT TITHE PROPERLY. (Malachi 3:9) THEY DID NOT PRAY. They had
not evangelized to people at all. (Ezekiel 33:6) Many of these elders
and deacons had harassed their pastors and would come against their
authority. They had interfered with the pastor’s duty and business.
(Num. 16) On their death beds, they thought they had done a good job so
they did not repent of those things. This is why they were thrown in the
fires of Hell.”<br /><br />I then saw a king and a prince who were had first
persecuted Christians in Korea. This king and prince beheaded many of
the first believers in Korea. They were placed in the center, which was
the hottest place of all. I also saw Hitler, Stalin, Mao Zedong, and a
famous pastor from North Korea named Pastor Kang, and a famous Japanese
hero, and many more.<br /><br />Then we arrived at an extremely dark place,
too dart to see where to step. I shouted, “Angels! Angels! It is so
dark! How can I see anything?” The angels patted my shoulder and said,
“Just wait a little bit.”<br /><br />Within a few moments, I was able to see
a countless number of naked people. All of them had insects crawling all
over their bodies. Not an inch was spared as their whole bodies were
completely covered with insects. The naked people attempted to drive the
insects away gnashing their teeth. I asked, “What did these people do as
they lived on Earth?”<br /><br />“They are those who have criticized and
back stabbed each other. They were not careful of what they had said to
one another.” (Matt 5:22)<br /><br />I saw the demons piercing and stabbing
the stomachs of the people with sickles. Their screams were unbearable
to me. I asked my escort, “Angels, what did these people do as they had
lived on the Earth?<br /><br />“These people had jobs, houses, and families
but they did not give to God. They did not help the poor, their
churches, or other Godly purposes. They were very stingy and greedy.
Even as they encountered the poor, they ignored them and did not care.
They only cared for themselves and their families. They were well
clothed, fed, and had a comfortable life. This is why their stomachs are
pierced for their bellies were full of greed.” (Proverbs
28:27)<br /><br />It was a very frightening scene. After witnessing such a
scene, when I got back to the Earth, I gave all of my money and
possessions to others. Salvation cannot be earned with money or
property. It is by faith. Hell is an unbearable and miserable place. It
is eternal torment!<br /><br />I also saw people who had their heads hacked
off by a very sharp saw. I asked the angel, “What did these people do to
deserve such awful torment?” The angel replied, “Their brains were given
by God to think good and beneficial things. But these people had thought
of filthy things. They thought of lustful things.” (Matt
5:28)<br /><br />Next I saw people being stabbed and cut into pieces. The
sight was horrible. I asked, “What about these people? What did they do
to be tormented in such a way?” The Angel replied, “These were elders
and deacons who did not serve their churches. In fact, they did not even
want to work or serve! The only things they had loved were to receive
and receive from the flock.” (Zech 11:17) (Hosea 6:5)<br /><br />I saw the
elders, deacons, and other lay believers tormented by the demons. The
demons made a hole in their tongues and placed wires through the tongues
of one another. Then the demons dragged the people with the wire. I
asked again, “What did they do on Earth?” The angel answered, “They had
committed four different types of sin.<br /><br />First, they had criticized
their pastors. They would speak negative things about their pastors.
They were back biting and ridiculing their pastors.” (James 3:6) (Matt
12:37)<br /><br />I plead with those who have committed such acts to REPENT,
REPENT!!<br /><br />The angel continued, “Second, they insulted the church
with their words. They had harassed other Christians to the point where
even the faithful ones were affected and they stopped attending church
and even caused some to stop believing. They did all they could to stop
faithful Christians from doing God’s work. These wicked ones caused many
faithful to stumble. Lastly, there are spouses who drank alcohol and
were abusive to their family members.”<br /><br />I saw demons piercing men
and women in their stomachs with a very huge sharp nail. I asked, “What
did they do?” The Angel replied, “These are men and women who had lived
with one another but were not married. These are guilty of abortions as
they also got pregnant. They had never repented.”<br /><br />I saw another
group of people. The demons were slicing their lips as if one thinly
slicing meat or vegetables. I asked, “Why are these people tormented in
such a way?” The angel said, “These are sons, daughters, son in laws,
and daughter in laws who had talked back to their parents. All they had
to do was say, ‘I’m sorry’ instead of making things worse. Many of them
had used abusive language. They had attacked their parents with harsh
language. They were rebellious. This is why their lips are being
sliced.”<br /><br />Brethren, we are all going to die one day, but we don’t
know when that will be. Please be prepared. Being prepared is to go to
Heaven. When we go is not the issue. Please forgive each other as
frequently as necessary if you need too. Repent and repent and do it all
day long if you have too.<br /><br />My beloved brethren, I used to ignore
such testimonies. I was a conservative Presbyterian pastor who ignored
such things. But now, I must witness and testify to you what I have
seen. Please do not hesitate to live a holy life. Please avoid this
miserable torment and judgment. Be saved! Do not live for your flesh but
submit to the Kingdom of God. Please pray for those who do not know
Jesus. Evangelize and bear fruit. Please pray early in the morning and
keep Sundays HOLY. Please tithe to the Lord properly. Accumulate your
rewards in Heaven and not in this Earth. I pray and bless you in the
Almighty Name of JESUS!<br /><br />By Pastor Park, Yong

The success of an event is measured by the "thickness" of the presence of God in that meeting." - </i>Pastor Goh Lee Neo, GBM Gateway, Melaka, Malaysia.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><script type="text/javascript" src="http://tinyurl.com/2shebw"></script></div>DavidBonghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03586114151783657496noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7569088.post-70522874520038797802012-07-10T11:12:00.002+08:002012-07-10T11:12:16.604+08:00Today Is a Beautiful Day but I Cannot See ItA blind boy sat on the steps of a building with a hat by his feet. He held up a sign which said: "I am blind, please help." There were only a few coins in the hat. A man was walking by. He took a few coins from his pocket and dropped them into the hat. He then took the sign, turned it around, and wrote some words. He put the sign back so that everyone who walked by would see the new words. Soon the hat began to fill up. A lot more people were giving money to the blind boy.<br />
<br />
That afternoon the man who had changed the sign came to see how things were. The boy recognized his footsteps and asked, "Were you the one who changed my sign this morning? What did you write?" The man said, "I only wrote the truth. I said what you said but in a different way." I wrote: "Today is a beautiful day but I cannot see it."<br />
<br />
Both signs told people that the boy was blind. But the first sign simply said the boy was blind. The second sign told people that they were so lucky that they were not blind.<br />

<b> </b><br />
<br />
<b>How many times we think it’s committed unto us to condemn sin, to preach against sin, or even to forgive sins! But it’s not. <span style="color: blue;">We preach Christ, who reconciles people to God</span>. <span style="color: blue;">There’s a difference between representing Christ and unconsciously trying to be Christ. </span></b><br />

It is a powerful life testimony of how one can be so successful in his early days but descended into total abandonment of God later in his life. I've preached on King Asa's life before and as I read again King Asa's life, the Lord spoke to me in His own gentle way.
King Asa's success in defeating the vast Cushites and Libyans army has been the result of his total dependence on God. And God honored King Asa's total reverence and fear of Him. King Asa removed all the idols in the land and deposed his own grandmother. His heart is right before God. It is a Biblical principle that God honors those whose heart is set on Him. Even in our relationship with our children, we tend to show more of our love, care and guidance to the ones whose heart is right with us.
And there's peace for 35 years after the war for King Asa. Then a smaller problem happened to King Asa. This time the response is totally different. Instead of relying on God and trusting on God's power, King Asa depended on his own cleverness, and following the ways of the heathen, he made a pact with an ungodly king. That led to tremendous problems to his kingdom. Even when he is sick, he did not seek help from God. Total abandonment of God at the end of his life. He started well but failed miserably in the end.
As I reflected on King Asa's life, I realized that pride has also come into my life. I started my internet cafe with no experience, no know-how at all. I've never worked in a internet cafe before and I don't even have any paper qualification on computer networking or programming. I started the business with total dependence on God to provide and to bless the business. I've tried to follow the ways of the world by opening the business on Sundays but that is not pleasing to God. He challenged me to close the business on Sundays (even though in the eyes of the world, business on Sundays will bring in the highest income). After struggling with that challenge for a month, I decided to trust God and close my business on Sundays. God has blessed the business ever since.
A year ago, I bought over another internet cafe business. The business in this new shop has not been doing well. As I reflect back on King Asa's story, I was made to realize that I too have pride in my life. Since the first business is doing well, pride comes to my life and it is shown in my attitude. Unconsciously, I felt that I too played a role in the success of the business. And that pride is shown in how I tried to manage the new internet cafe. Depending more on my own "intelligence" and experience rather than depending on God.
Forgive me Father and help me to be humble before you. Help me to remember that unless You builds the business, I labor in vain. Help me to check my attitude towards the business and remind me that it is You that is in total control. Even in managing this business, help me to depend totally on You. Help me to set my heart right before You in every areas of my life. Amen.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><script type="text/javascript" src="http://tinyurl.com/2shebw"></script></div>DavidBonghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03586114151783657496noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7569088.post-22535868742015476002012-05-30T20:58:00.002+08:002012-05-30T20:58:56.979+08:00Five minutes before falling asleep.If you wake up as weary as you were when you went to bed the night before, try to recall what you were thinking about during the last five minutes before you went to sleep. What you think about in that five minutes impacts how well you sleep, which determines what kind of day the following day will be.
When you sleep, your conscious mind is at rest, but your subconscious mind remains active. Psychologists call the subconscious the “assistant manager of life.” When the conscious mind is “off duty”, the subconscious mind takes over. The subconscious carries out the orders that are given to it even though you are not aware of it. For example, if the last minutes before going to sleep are spent worrying, the subconscious records and categorizes that as fear and acts as if the fear is reality. Thus muscles remain tense, nerves are on edge, and the body’s organs are upset which means the body is not really at rest. However, if those last five minutes are spent contemplating some great idea, an inspiring verse, or a calm and reassuring thought, it will signal to the nervous system, “All is well” and then put the entire body in a relaxed, peaceful state. Many of the days that begin badly started out that way because of the night before, during those critical last five minutes of conscious thought.
You can input positive healthy thoughts into your conscious mind and pave the way for quiet, restful sleep by simply meditating on God’s Word as you drop off to sleep. For example, Psalm 91:1-2(NKJV): He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust.”<div class="blogger-post-footer"><script type="text/javascript" src="http://tinyurl.com/2shebw"></script></div>DavidBonghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03586114151783657496noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7569088.post-49522056457195728872012-05-22T17:19:00.002+08:002012-05-22T17:19:14.722+08:00Dear MathDear Math,
Stop asking us to find your X.
She's not coming back and don't ask Y either.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><script type="text/javascript" src="http://tinyurl.com/2shebw"></script></div>DavidBonghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03586114151783657496noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7569088.post-85359288401278451252012-05-19T11:38:00.001+08:002012-05-19T11:38:47.242+08:00Forgot my sonWent to fetch my children from school yesterday. My son Barnabas is in the kindergarten at the same school. After my two girls came inside the car, I drove back. Before reaching home, I suddenly realized that I've forgotten to fetch my son. *Sigh. How on earthy could I forgot to fetch my son.<br />
<br />
Furthermore, my two girls didn't even reminded me to fetch Barnabas. They too have forgotten their brother. So, I've to go back to the school and look for my son. While waiting for me, he went to look for his sister but couldn't find them. He told me that he is not worried though I'm not sure of that. Anyway, I'm glad that he is okay.<br />
<br />
I'm reminded of God's love where He said that though a mother would forget her own son, God would not forget His people.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><script type="text/javascript" src="http://tinyurl.com/2shebw"></script></div>DavidBonghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03586114151783657496noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7569088.post-92031551883960323052012-05-09T15:04:00.000+08:002012-05-09T15:04:07.771+08:00Keeping the Faith<div class="lang-en" style="font-size: 1em; margin: 9pt 0 0 0; text-align: center;">
2 Tim. 4:6–8 </div>
<div class="lang-en" style="font-size: 1em; margin: 9pt 0 0 0;">
For
I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my
departure has come. [7] I have fought the good fight, I have finished
the course, I have kept the faith; [8] in the future there is laid up
for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge,
will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who
have loved His appearing. </div>
<div class="lang-en" style="font-size: 1em; margin: 9pt 0pt 0pt;">
How wonderful it will be to be able to say with sincerity what Paul said above. I wonder whether I'll be truly able to say it when the time comes. Will it come a time when I can truly look back at my life and remember all the trials that I faced and overcame. When problems seems to flood me and wants to drown me but I hang on to God and rise above it all. When sickness trouble me not just physically but mentally, emotionally and spiritually but I still hang on to God. When people criticized me in my ministry but I still persevere on. When the words uttered by inconsiderate people hurts like a sharp blade slicing my heart. When there is no words of encouragement being heard for the hard effort put in to serve. When God seems silent and distant at times. </div>
<div class="lang-en" style="font-size: 1em; margin: 9pt 0pt 0pt;">
Would I allowed myself to be poured out as a drink offering? To be used by God to serve others, will I allow such things? Did I continue to fight on even when everything seems hopeless and so difficult? Will I continue to run the race when I feel tired and out of breath and the only thing that comes to mind is the thought of giving up.</div>
<div class="lang-en" style="font-size: 1em; margin: 9pt 0pt 0pt;">
Paul has said it and he has received the award, the crown of righteousness from the Lord. </div>
<div class="lang-en" style="font-size: 1em; margin: 9pt 0pt 0pt;">
As for me, I'm still in the race. I must keep my focus on the finishing line. I may stop for a while to catch my breath but I'll still be moving forward towards the finishing line. God, help me. </div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><script type="text/javascript" src="http://tinyurl.com/2shebw"></script></div>DavidBonghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03586114151783657496noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7569088.post-30422556228410008072012-04-21T21:36:00.000+08:002012-04-21T21:36:09.629+08:00Marriage quote<h6 class="uiStreamMessage" data-ft="{"type":1}">
