Most of us are more at ease meeting and mingling with our own group of people or culture. Like me, I am a Chinese Peranakan. I have a mix Chinese and Malay blood. I look like a Malay guy, have a Chinese name and don't speak Chinese. Some Chinese rejects me because I don't speak their language. So, I prefer to mix with my own people.
The same goes to people from the subculture called the Gothic. They may look spooky by they are actually quite tolerant, non-violent and passive group of people. Check out Gothscene.com. There are nice
