Skin care for you

Living in a hot country has many disadvantages. When it is too hot, it will definitely affects my skin. Too dry or too oily are common problems that I faced. So I had to resort to skincare products. Yes, I use skincare products too. Not only my wife uses it but I do too. For those of you who stays in hot countries like Malaysia, you know that the weather is hotter compared to 10 years ago. We can really feel the difference.

I have use a few brands of skin care products in the past. Currently I am using Skin MD Natural Shielding Lotion and I am very happy with this product. I love sports and being outdoor most of the time definitely have the effect on my skin especially my face. My face skin is dry but Skin MD Natural Shielding Lotion helps it to be moisturized. I enjoy using it everyday. It is not oily unlike some other products. The skin really absorbs the lotion like a sponge thirsting for water. And the effect is almost immediate. My face is no longer dry after using the lotion. Side effects? Nothing that I know of.

Would I recommend it this product? Yes, absolutely. Not only for ladies but for men too. Try it out and I am sure you will be satisfied with it. I know I am.

Penelope

In a world where beauty is perceived as one of the most valuable assets a girl can have, we find that many are drawn and trapped in unrealistic expectations of others. Indeed, we find many girls struggle with this unnecessary and unrealistic expectations to be beautiful. And Penelope is one of them. Born into a rich family where life should be great and without worries, she has to find her true self. Literally cursed with the Wilhern spell, she has a hideous nose that she has to bear with. The good news is that the curse can be broken, only if she finds love. The viewers are taken into her life's journey to find the true meaning of love and life.

I guess each one of us can identify with Penelope. There are many things about ourselves that we may not like. We have to struggle with our "hideousness" and hopefully, like Penelope, we too can find peace with it. This movie would be a great movie to watch. Bring your daughters to watch it if you can (it is showing beginning Feb 29th) and use it a good opportunity to teach them the true meaning of beauty.

Running Of The Bulls

If you are visiting Spain in July, make sure you visit Pamplona in the Northern part of Spain. If you are a Catholic then you can join and enjoy the celebrations for San Fermin, the patron saint of the city. If you are not, then you can enjoy the Running of the Bulls or “Encierro”.

How does “Encierro” started? It began during the festival of the bullfight. The bulls that are being used in the bullfight that evening were "run" by the drovers from their enclosure through the streets and into the pens within the bullring "Plaza de Toros". As time passed by the locals decided to also run along with the bulls. Later the more daring decided to run in front of the bulls. Since 1852 the route for the “Encierro” remains the same, from Santo Domingo Street, through the Plaza Consistorial and along Estafeta Street via the dangerously twisting Mercaderes Street. The run itself is about half a mile long through cobbled, narrow streets marked out by a tall, sturdy double-lined fence.

If you are daring enough do consider joining the Run. Of course you need to be screened before being allowed to participate. While you are there, you can stay in any of the hoteles en españa. There are many cheap hoteles en españa that you can book online. If you are visiting Madrid, you can stay in hoteles en madrid.

ToBi woman or man

Where do you go to find the branded clothes that you are looking for? Most people would go to the boutique and spend hours there to try out the clothes on display. Well, it is more so for the ladies. And sometimes, they might not even buy any if the clothes do not fit their “beautiful, sexy and slim” figure. I think it is more accurate to say that they won’t buy the clothes if the clothes do not make them look “beautiful, sexy and slim”. It is the same for guys too. Clothes are meant to improve our outward appearance. Most importantly it is meant to cover our bodies though this purpose might have been discarded by some.

There is one online website that you can go if you want to find branded clothes. Yes, it is for both women and men. It is called ToBi. I guess the name itself indicated the need for a person “To Be” the woman or man through the clothes he or she is wearing. You can search easily through the many branded clothing that are for sale. Let’s say you want to find Nudie Jeans, you can use the search engine and insert nudie as the keyword. Or if your favorite jeans is Seven For All Mankind, just insert the keyword “seven” you will be shown the pictures of all the jeans for that brand. It is easy. Furthermore, when you place your mouse pointer on the picture, it will show an enlarged picture so that you can view it clearly. Do check it out.

What else is my option?

If ever I should fail to get a suitable job, I think I would take the risk and play shares. Hahaha...joking lah. I am not a big risk taker. I would like to buy and own shares but not to "play shares". Some of my brothers do play shares. They are more of a risk taker compared to me.

Those who are risk takers should try and minimize their risks as low possible. Yes, there will still be risk involved but the risk could be lowered to a certain extent. Second to Die

I found something interesting today about insurance policy. I am familiar with Family Insurance or Term Life or Cash Back Life Insurance as I had been briefed about it by my insurance agent. Also, most of us would have been briefed about the Insurance Plans Pros and Cons by our agents. But today, I found a new type of insurance policy. I am not so sure whether it is a new policy but it is definitely new to me. It is called the “second to die life insurance”.

Yes, you read it correctly. Second To Die life insurance policy. What is it about? Briefly, it is similar to universal insurance but this coverage covers two people instead of just one. The benefit will only be paid out until both individuals on the policy have passed away. I think those who does not trust their spouse would prefer this type of insurance policy. Only the heirs would benefit from this policy. So if you think you would want to know more about this, check out Advantagetermlife.com.

Playing for money

Almost everyone that I told about online game felt that it is a waste of time and money. “You can do better things than just sit there and play your game” would be a common response from them. Haiya… if everybody thinks about doing “better things” all the time, life would be so boring. We do need time to relax, time to play and time to have fun. All work and no play make me a dull person.

Furthermore, not all online games are a waste of time. Most of the games require thinking skills. Games like Backgammon may not be as easy as it looks. Firstly you need to know the Backgammon rules before you can play it well. Of course, you need to constantly use your mind in order to win. That is the difficult part as some of us are not use to exercising our minds. Come to think of it, those who “exercise” their mind constantly seldom get Alzheimer when they get older.

Another advantage of playing online game is that you can actually play Backgammon for money. No, I do no encourage gambling here. It is more of entering a game competition. If you feel that you can win, why not go for it. That is what most of the athletes do in the various tournaments, so why not online gamers do the same.

Sitting away

The other day I knocked down the bench inside my house compound. I was reversing my car but unfortunately did not notice that I reversed too far back. Suddenly I heard a small knocking sound. When I look at the back, I saw that the long wood that we used as a bench and one of its legs had been knocked down. There goes the long bench.

It is nice to sit at the garden especially at night. Maybe if I buy teak garden furniture and put it in my house compound, I can then enjoy the night cool air with my family. Not many types of wood can endure the outside weather. Furniture made of teak wood can last long. The teak benches would do great for my compound. I can be sitting away on the teak benches at night chatting with my wife. Building intimacy also requires good furniture.

Where is the table?

We bought a new chair. It is the chair that is normally used by the executives in a company. It can be reclined a bit and made of durable pvc material. But the main reason we bought the chair is for comfort and health purposes. The previous chair is very uncomfortable. It is not good for our posture. Since we spent quite a considerable time using the computer we know that we need to find a good chair.

Our next task is to find another table. My wife has bought a new laptop and we are sharing the computer table. It is not a good arrangement for her as she has to use the side of the computer table. I found this website that offers office furniture, school furniture, computer carts, medical furniture and even LAN Racks. LAN Racks is shown as in the side picture. No, of course I am not buying the LAN rack. It is used mostly in computer shop where they need to stack the computer casing and monitors. If I decided to start a computer shop, then I would probably need to buy the LAN rack.

As for now, maybe I will get the Modesty Panel table. Yes there is such thing as Modesty panel table. This table is designed in such a way that people who is in front of the table would not be able to see your sexy leg as it is fully covered by another panel. But then again, in my own house, I do not mind seeing my wife's sexy leg. Hehehe... .

A Good E-Commerce Site

Even though the world is moving into e-commerce in a rapid pace, not every e-commerce sites are “progressing” in par with IT technology and advances. There are many e-commerce out there in the World Wide Web that are unattractive, unfriendly and definitely would not create returning customers. Some e-commerce sites are so unfriendly that you will wonder whether they are serious in wanting to sell their products.

A good e-commerce site would provide a few functions in the websites. Potential customers would want to be able to search for the products in the site itself. Once the product is found, there should be enough information about the product that will help the customer to make a wise decision. There should not be any hidden costs or fine prints that would take the customers by surprise. Once the customers had finished with their shopping cart they should be able to close the deal easily. In other words the process to buy the product must be easy and not cumbersome.

If you are setting up an e-commerce site to sell your products, do consider installing the ecommerce software from Ashop Commerce. Ashop Commerce offers a complete solution for merchants to sell online. Your e-commerce site would be securely hosted with 128 bit SSL checkout security, and full fraud alerts. Of course you would also be entitled to web promotion services, design services and free emails. Do check it out.

What you see is what you get!

One of the disappointments that you will experienced when you book an accommodation online is that the room that you booked is not what you expected or imagine it to be. This has happened to my wife’s friends who came down to visit her. My wife booked an apartment but when her friends came, they found out that the management of the apartment does not provide basic toiletries and towels inside the apartment. The poor friends had to go out and buy soaps and towels for themselves.

You in charge

There was a time when consumers are "in control" of which bank they want to apply for a loan. The banks would listen to them and try as much as possible to agree to offer the consumer the loan as according to the consumer's demands. Now however it is the bank that controls the situation and consumers do not have much say as to the condition of the loan that they are applying. All the conditions, terms of agreement are set by the bank and very seldom the bank would modify it to suit the customer's needs.

Now, consumers can have a little bit more control. With Modernlend, you can have complete control over the use of your information when applying for a home loan online. You can decide not just which lender you ultimately decide to go with, but which lenders have the privilege to compete for your business.

You will receive from lender the information about their programs. Not all lenders provide the same friendly service. With Modernlend you can also review ratings for each lender created by people like you, who have previously selected the lender on our site. This would help you greatly in choosing the suitable lender for your loan needs.

Diamond ring for my wife

My wife has been giving hints. Many times when she read and write about diamond ring, she would sigh and say, "Haizzz... when can I get my diamond ring?" Well being the poor (financially) man that I am, I can only keep quiet and wonder as to when can I fulfill that wish of hers. Maybe the time has come to fulfill her wish. Now A&W Diamonds, an established Loose Diamond Wholesaler is opening up a website to directly sell loose diamonds to consumers. There is no need for us to buy diamonds from a middle-man or a jeweler. As A&W Diamonds is celebrating their Grand Opening to the public they have given out this press release: -

New York, New York – A&W Diamonds is now open to the public. This is the first time that a loose diamond wholesaler has made their inventory open to the public at such attractive prices. Previous to the opening of AWdiamonds.com, A&W diamonds sold loose diamonds exclusively to jewelers and retail stores.

A&W Diamonds is a third generation diamond wholesaler based out of the diamond district in Midtown Manhattan. A&W Diamonds is run by Larry Weissfeld who is continuing the family business; he had this to say about his company. “We felt for a long time that the diamond market was lacking a public wholesaler. We wanted people to have access to affordable loose diamonds so that they could design their own jewelry and have more control over design and cost.”

AWdiamonds.com has thousands of diamonds available for sale in all shapes, colors, cuts and sizes. Search and buy without hassle

If you want to buy a product you would normally search online for the brand and models of the product. Then when you found one that you like you would have to search for it at the various shopping malls or shops before you can find the products that you are looking for. That is quite a hassle for many of us especially when not all the shops do sell the product model that we are looking for. Now, that can change when you use krillion.com search website.

Assuming that you are looking for a oven, in particular a Kenmore Ranges oven products. Just type the keywords and you will be shown the full range of Kenmore oven related products. Choose your model and scroll down until you see the list of cities where you can buy the product. Click on the city near you and you will be shown the list of retailers that offers the product you want. It is that easy. You can be sure the shops listed do sell the product that you are looking for.

Goji berries

The western world called it Goji Berries. The Chinese are very familiar with it and called it "kei chi". It is very common among the Chinese as they often use Goji berries in their everyday consumption. Goji berries is used in Chinese herbal soup and if you go to a Chinese restaurant and order their herbal soup, you might find Goji berries as one of the ingredients. And you will definitely find it in the Chinese herbal medicine shop. Its nutritions and benefits are long known by the Chinese "singseh" or herbal medicine doctor.

House plans

One criteria that I like to see in a house is the cooling criteria. What I mean is whether the temperature inside the house is still cool even though the weather outside is very hot. Most of the terrace houses that are being built now does not fulfill this criteria. It is cheap in price but it is not comfortable to live in. Poor natural ventilation system is another downside to the terrace houses.

Have you watched the movie "The Lake House" starred by Sandra Bullock? In the movie there is a house by the lake. Most of the walls are made of glass and there is enough ventilation that makes the house looks cool. And one can enjoy the view of the lake even from inside the house. Now, that is a well planned house where nature is taken into consideration.

If you plan to have a house specially design according to your interests and ideas, you can checkout houseplansandmore.com. There are various types of house plans that are offered there. The Log Cabin House Plans and the English Cottage House Plans are wonderful and desirable. Then again, as I said, make sure that the house that you are planning to build take into consideration the weather and surrounding environment.

For those who have a ranch, you might want to consider the Small Ranch House Plans. The pictures shown are some of the house designs that I find very nice.

Visit Germany & Austria

“The Sound of Music” comes to mind when people mentioned about Austria and Germany. It is not just about the music in that movie but also the beautiful sceneries where the movie was shot. Indeed, Austria is a land of beautiful sceneries. The beautiful mountains top are awesome. It will not only bring delight to the eyes but also brings one nearer to the Maker. Do visit the Crystal Worlds and you will be amazed at the beauty of light piercing through thousands of crystals.

Likewise, when you visit Germany, its nature and beautiful sceneries are a must to visit. Do not forget to visit any of the biosphere reserves in Germany. Biosphere reserves are representative areas of precious natural and man-made landscapes and are use for research into the relationship between man and the environment. Alternatively you can visit the beautiful National Parks in Germany.

If you loves music both countries have something to offer to you. When you stay in Vienna, make sure that you go and enjoy the beautiful choir music from groups like the Vienna Mozart Orchestra, Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and the Vienna Boys’ Choir. I would not be surprised if you might even be dreaming of being one of the singers in these orchestras.

Likewise the music experience in Germany is equally enthralling. Various musicals are played all year round in Germany such as the 3 Musketeers, Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Mamma Mia! and many others. There are many other concerts that you can go to. Just check out the dates and plan your holiday accordingly.

For places to stay you can check out any of the Hotels in Vienna and Hotels in Berlin. I am sure there are cheap Hotels in Vienna and cheap Hotels in Berlin that you can find online. Be sure to compare the prices first to get the best deals. Some of the hotels do offer holiday tours that you might be interested in.

Holiday plans canceled

I thank God for granting me good health again. Am feeling much better now than last week when I was down with diarrhea and fever for about 4 days. In fact the whole family was down with fever, diarrhea, vomiting, stomach-ache or some kind of discomfort. It was really a “sick week” for us. A few of the holiday plans that we have planned earlier had to be cancelled. We are unable to attend the family gathering at Tebong. Hari Raya visitation to our Malay friends’ house had to be postponed. And our own family get-away had to be canceled.

I guess it is not time for us to go for a holiday yet. Though we plan but circumstances just does not permit us to do so. Who knows, instead of just going for a holiday locally, we would be going for a holiday in Australia or New Zealand. There are cheap flights available now. Various international flights are available to these two destinations. Of course we would prefer the Qantas when we are in Australia. From we can take Singapore Airlines or even United Airlines to Australia. Ahh… waiting for the day to come.
