Giving that matters

"Each and every night, over 5,000 people sleep on the streets in the Los Angeles area. Having a place where we can send young people and adults to get them away from the influence of gangs, drugs, and the inner city is just the ticket for changing America. Our Discipleship School in El Mirage CA picks up the homeless every single week and brings them into an environment away from drugs and alcohol and all of the other negative influences so they can get their lives right. And of course since we help those who cannot help themselves, they are charged NOTHING!"
Rev. David Crawford

The above are an excerpt taken from the Boat Angel website. The BoatAngel ministry is reaching out to thousands of kids and youths that are in need of shelter, care, guidance and human touch. It is a ministry that touches lives of the destitute. Many of us come from well-to-do families where love and comfort abounds. Yet, if we open our eyes and be willing to look around outside our homes, we will find that many are not as fortunate as us.

And there are many of us who come from broken families or have lived in an orphanage homes. We know how it is like to live a life without many things and only with the basic necessity. And we know the joy of receiving help (in whatever forms) that ministered to our physical and spiritual needs. How we longed that many more will reach out to those in needs and ease the burden a little bit. The BoatAngel is doing the outreaches that you should be doing instead. They are planning to have more boat angel outreach center that will help to reach out to the needy. Would you be kind enough to help them in whatever ways you can? If you are willing and would like to do so, kindly check out the website and contact them as soon possible. Your gift will help to change and uplift another person’s life.
