I'm getting fat lah

My wife told me that she is getting fat. I nodded. Of course she will get fat. I have not seen her do any exercises for a long time. I think the last time she did her aerobic dance with Paula Abdul is before she conceived Barnabas, which is about 3 years ago. Hmm... how not to grow fat if there is no exercises done for so long.

As for me, I am growing fatter now. Same reason as my wife, lack of exercises. Although I do have my once a week soccer game it is still insufficient to maintain a healthy body. A few days ago while went shopping I saw a punching bag for sale. It is sold at a cheap price so I quickly bought it. At least I do have one fitness equipment at home where I can use to train my body. Hopefully with the punching bag I will be more motivated to keep a healthy body. I planned to buy more fitness equipments as my free time to go for cardiovascular exercises are quite limited. At the same time, regular fasting every week would do wonders too for my body besides the spiritual benefits. Must keep the fat at bay.

Balancing act

What is so special about this picture? Look at the bicycle with the yellow color thing. Yes, it is a refrigerator.

Not only he has to secure it to his bicycle but he has balance his bicycle while riding it. Hmm...and lots of energy to cycle with the heavy load.

Chat rooms

Most of my customers love to chat. Some chat with their real friends but most of them chat with people whom they do not know in real life.

I do hope they would not be in this situation shown in the picture.

Election and gas price

This coming election as usual produced various issues that are hotly talked about. Almost all the political parties have taken one issue among others to get the support of the people. The most popular topic that they talked about is the price of oil that is still increasing. The main political party maintained that the increase in oil price is not within their control as it is governed by international demand and supply. The opposition promises that if they are in control, they will make sure that the price of oil and various essentials would not be increased.

Whatever it is, the sure thing is that the price of gas has increased. It might be good to consider applying for Gas Credit Cards where you can reduce your spending on gas. As the price of most things are increasing, whatever small things like using the Gas Credit Card can help to reduce your expenses in the long term. The politicians can talk and talk as much as they want but if it is only talks and no action, then it will still come to nothing. Vote wisely.

Fear Factor

I think this man can enter the Fear Factor contest and can easily win. It is no joke to be able to go from one end to the other end of the rope. It requires strength, formidable strength on the arms. What more with the feet holding on the bicycle. Waseh.....

Amazing CPU Casing

Some people are really devoted to their interests. I would have never want to spend time and money to remodel or create this CPU casing. I guess if you have the passion for it, you will surely do what you want to do.

This CPU casing looks nice though. Can become an antique or sell as rare item. Maybe it is worth more than the actual value.

Study put on hold

Do you know that you can further your study online. Yes, if time and location are hindrances for you to continue studying, then you should consider studying online. Check out Capella University that offers various courses online. One of the popular courses is the mba online which you can find the details on their website. Of course, if you want to study online, you will need to have internet access and a computer. It is better to have your own computer and then you can study at home. Alternatively, you can come to my internet shop and get online there. There are a few of my customers are doing that. They took an online course and would come to the internet shop to do their studies and research. They can even print out whatever resources and materials for their own reference later. Do not put on hold the dreams you have to continue your studies. Do it online.

Fully Equipped

Alas, all the computers at the shop are equipped with webcam and headsets. In the past there are about 10 computers that are equipped with webcam. All do have headsets but due to wear and tear and mishandling by the customers, a few of the headsets cannot be used. Today, the dealer came and I bought the webcams and the headsets. Prayerfully, all the equipments will last long. Now, the customers need not request to change computers because of no webcam or headsets. Better service for the customers

The other side

A sick man turned to his doctor, as he was preparing to leave the examination room and said, "Doctor, I am afraid to die. Tell me what lies on the other side."

Very quietly, the doctor said, "I don't know."

"You don't know? You, a Christian man, do not know what is on the other side?"

The doctor was holding the handle of the door; on the other side came a sound of scratching and whining, and as he opened the door, a dog sprang into the room and leaped on him with an eager show of gladness.

Turning to the patient, the doctor said, "Did you notice my dog? He's never been in this room before. He didn't know what was inside. He knew nothing except that his master was here, and when the door opened, he sprang in without fear. I know little of what is on the other side of death, but I do know one thing. I know my Master is there and that is enough."

Tuition Centre

A friend of mine came to the shop and shared his business plan. He plans to open a tuition centre in the same vicinity near my shop. We talked about it and I managed to give him a few pointers and issues that he needs to deal with. It is always good to talk to other business people as they may have the experience and tips that we can learn from.

Once he can find the right premises to set up the centre, he has to look for moving companies to bring all the equipments needed for the centre. I am sure he does not want to trouble himself by transporting the equipments all by himself. It is much more convenient and time-saving to engage a moving company to do the hard work for you. I am hoping the he is able to find the premise that is near my internet shop. This will help my business to grow as the students would patronize my shop before or after their tuition hours.

Does it matter?

Before I ordered the T-Shirt, I inquired from my staff about the colors of the T-Shirt. He likes light blue while I prefers bright orange color. Thought of having 2 different colors but when I arrived at the T-Shirt shop, there seems that there is not many options available. Furthermore, the lady in charge seems a bit reluctant to do "extra" effort since the price has been reduced to RM28 a piece.

Since that is the situation at the shop, I just choose one color for the T-Shirt. It would be bright orange. It is a colour which symbolizes energy, zest, enthusiasm and creativity. One who wears orange is known to be someone who loves to experiment. The colour orange signifies an open-minded approach. It gives vibes of friendship, fun and informality. Hahaha....not that I or my staff do have all these qualities but hopefully in due time some of these qualities will shine out.

So, I guess....it does matter which color to chose.

T-Shirt ordered

After further bargaining with the T-Shirt designer, they agreed to reduce the T-shirt price from RM35 to RM28 per piece. The shirt itself cost about RM20 while the sewing of the business logo and wordings cost about RM15. Since they agreed to reduce the price to RM28, I agreed to order 6 pieces. Three shirts will be given to Andy and I will take the other 3 pieces. However, have to wait for 3 weeks before the shirts can be ready.

Information and blog

It is very easy to communicate with others if they have internet access. Most young people who have internet access would have signed up with myspace, friendsters and would know how to chat online. It is convenient to share information and updates of oneself. I myself have not only one but a few blogs, each for different purposes.

I know my brother has a blog but then he still has yet to post his newborn daughter's photos on his blog. Having a blog does not necessarily mean that you have the time to update it regularly. People can use blog even for business purposes. It is not surprising that many businesses know the importance of having their own business blog. You can even find accounting blog or other niche blog that is of your interest. Even if you do a search online, the first few results would normally indicated that the information you are looking for are posted in various blogs. So, if you something to share to everybody, start a blog.

Where's the photos lah?

My brother was blessed with a baby daughter a week ago. Until now there is still no photos send to the others. Where are the photos lah? Send lah to the yahoogroup. Anyway, heard from mother that the baby has jaundice though not so severe. Praying for the baby's health.

Her hair is growing

Received an email from Sis Bebe. Looks like she is doing fine and will be doing her 2nd tablet chimo this Friday. Seen her without the wig. She still looks pretty without the wig. It reminds me of Demi Moore in one of her movies where Demi had to shave her head bald.

Sis Bebe's hair is growing now, slowly but surely. Praying that her hair will grow fast and black in color.

Extra income

Andy requested for his EPF deductions recently. He has been working for me for about 4 months now. Last year it was on a part time basis but changed to being a full time staff beginning this year. It is great to have him as I really need to have someone that I can trust to handle the money. It is problematic to have staffs that are not honest or sincere in their work.

Anyway, I told him that there need to be some changes in the salary if he wants the EPF deduction. This is due that I can only afford to pay him a certain amount for his salary. The business has yet to yield the targeted monthly income and as such it is very difficult for me to pay more. I am trying my best to minimize cost.

Having said all that, I truly believes that God knows what is needed, both by Andy and myself. Am praying that He will release His blessings upon the business that it will provide not only sufficient amount but abundantly. If not, then maybe Andy and I have to look for other jobs for more income. Maybe I will look for any spa jobs so that I enjoy the spa after my working hour. But then can a guy be accepted to work in the spa?

Waseh....

Wah... it is now already 9.10pm and yet the shop is empty. There are only 3 customers using the computers. Where are the customers? Normally, it would be full at this hour. Hmmm... what could have happened?

(A prayer uttered to God in silence.)

I got new spec

Yesterday, I received a call from Eye To Eye optical shop asking wifey to go and do a second check-up on her eyes. We went there on Tuesday night to check our eyesight and I ordered my new spectacle.

When we arrived there, wifey went to do her eye check-up and I was presented with my new spectacle. No major difference from the old one except the difference in the lens power. I prefers my spec to cover all angles of my vision. It is very irritating to have two different visions, one clear and one blur. It is UV protected and EMI (against computer monitor rays) which is what I needed most.

Hoping that my eyesight will improve further.

Now it is my turn

We spent quite a big some repairing my wife's car. We had to change the water tank and unfortunately the mechanic use a good brand water tank for our old junk. Common sense dictate that it is not necessary to use expensive branded water tank for an old junk. Anyway, since it had already been fixed, we had no choice but to accept it.

Today, I sent my car for repair. The front brake got jammed and because of that the car cannot move fast. It also has the burning smell. I was contemplating on whether to send it to the Tyre shop that fix the brake pad or just to the nearby mechanic. Thank God for leading me to send the car to the nearby mechanic. He serviced the brake pump instead of recommending to change it. Earlier, the Tyre shop did not do a good job when servicing the brake pump resulting in the brake jammed. After servicing the brake pump and changing the absorber (another problem with the car), the total amount is not as much as I expected although it is still a big hole in my pocket.

I am seriously thinking of getting a second hand car. There are some used cars from Used Cars Austin, Texas that interests me, if only I stay in Texas. Anyway, I am praying that the present car would not give frequent problems or I will definitely get a used car soon.

Reminder to myself - part 2

Now that you are getting better and no longer having flu, make sure that you keep yourself warm at night. Taking DOM Benedictine before sleep does help. But don't drink coffee or teh tarik. If you take coffee or Teh Tarik, you would not be able to sleep. English tea like Boh or Lipton tea is okay for you. And please stay away from air-conditioned places or windy places. Keep yourself healthy by taking supplements like Usana Essentials. If you don't, then you will most likely get cough after your flu.

Reminder to myself - part 1

When you are having flu, do not fast. It would make it even worse. Eat, eat and eat. By eating you are making your body work more and this produces more heat, which in turn will help to contain and reduce the flu.

Date fixed

Yes, we finally agreed on the date for our vacation. We planned earlier to try out Cancun Vacations but due to time and financial constraints, we decided to go to Genting Highlands. If we ever decided to go to Cancun, it would be only the two of us, minus the children. This time round, the children will follow us up to Genting. This would be their first time to Genting Theme Park and I know they would really enjoy themselves there, having fun going for the rides. Hoping that everybody would be healthy and there would not be any problems occurring before, during and after the trip. Oh ya, the date is end of March and 1st of April this year. We wanted to go earlier but since election is coming we decided to postpone it to after the election. Hoping we would have an enjoyable holiday there.

Our own business T-shirts

Am planning to have our own business shirt. I want to build a good image of the business and I believe by having our own collar T-shirt, it would create a good impression on my customers. Of course, the most important factor is good service. Providing good service would always be our top priority. Good and friendly service will always make returning customers. Well, I know there are more things that can be improved and I plan to do that in due time.

Promotion Month

God has been great. Or in my circumstances, the better phrase is that God has been faithful. Faithful to his promises that is written in His Word. As He led me to take that step of faith, He has been faithful to His promises to look after the business. It has been a struggle for me to consider closing the shop on Sundays as Sundays are normally the biggest earners. Anyway, I am glad that I have chosen to trust Him rather than the ways of the world.

I know that I need and can do more to promote the business. As such, starting with the month of February, various steps have been taken and will be taken to promote the business. At this moment, promotion leaflets would be printed out and distributed to the various residential areas. And to do this, I would have to pay someone to do the distribution. The Program E-Melaka would also be promoted and prayerfully this would be a source of additional income for Andy and the business. May more and more customers get to know about our services and flock in to use it.

Shannelle Bong

Received a call on Tuesday morning from my younger brother. He brings good news to my mother. My mother has another grandchild. He has another newborn daughter. Wah... the daughter was born on his birthday. Father and daughter having the same birthday. Now they can celebrate their birthdays together. And I am sure the daughter will always remember her father's birthday too.

Later that day, it was conveyed through the email that the newborn baby's name is Shannelle Bong. Congratulations wishes are now conveyed through the email. I wonder whether anybody send to them wholesale roses or any bouquet of flowers. Thank God that both baby and mother are doing fine.

Eyes getting better

Wifey wanted to change a new spectacles as she thinks that her current spectacles is no longer suitable for her eyes. So, we drove to an optometrician's shop at Ayer Keroh. By the time we reached the shop, it is already 8.26pm and it is closing. So, we drove back and along the way, wifey saw an optical shop having promotions. The shop is at Melaka Baru. So we stop by and had our eyes checked. I too need a new spectacles as my current one is over 3 years old and one of the glasses has a small crack.

Upon examining our eyes, it was discovered that my eyes are getting better. Previously the spectacle power is 1.25 for each eyes. Now, it has dropped to 1.00 each. Furthermore, there is no more astigmatism on my left eye. That is indeed good news.

Wifey eyes are still good and there's no increase to the spectacle's power. So, she bought a new spectacle, trendy look, for back-up. Quite expensive lah the price of spectacles nowadays, RM180 each. Anyway, I will try and make my vision better this year.

Recovering Now

Down with running nose on Sunday and Monday. Even had to come back early from work on Monday as the body is really not up to it. Almost wanted to close the shop and go home by 1pm but after lunch, the energy returned and managed to cope until Andy came to work at 3.45pm. Yes, had to ask him to come early as I know it would be too stressful for my body if I continue working until 6pm.

Today, thank God, the body is recovering and getting healthy again. Not 100% recovered but I'm much much better now. Hoping to be fully recovered soonest possible with the help of USANA Essentials and Proflavanol. Of course, it is God who heals. Must never forget that.

Wear and tear

I wonder whether I should apply for a Call Center VoIP Phone Systems for my business. There are some customers especially the foreign workers who wants to chat with their family members in their country. Well, of course they can use Yahoo Messenger or Windows Live Messenger and chat with anyone who is online but there a problem to it. Most of my headphone are without microphone. The microphone parts are either broken or no longer working. The boys who play games would turn and twist the microphone until it is broken. This is vandalism but it is quite hard to monitor as it is done while we are not watching. So, I have just to consider it as part of wear and tear of the products.

I am getting a new batch of headphone, maybe with a separate microphone to avoid the same problems. I might consider VoIP Phone Systems if the needs for overseas calls are high. I might even generate some income from it.

She needs to learn patience

It always happened to her (my wife) when we went out for dinner or a meal. We would be there at the restaurant and ordered our food and drinks. Others would come in later than us and while waiting for the food, we noticed that the others received their food first. We were then left waiting for our food, WHICH WE ORDERED EARLIER THAN OTHERS. When that happens, I can see the changes on her face. Told her that it is an opportunity for her to develop patience. Hahaha...unfairness can be turned into an opportunity.

Car repair costly lah

The red car had to be sent for repair. There is some problem with the water tank and wifey had to fill it up everyday. So we decided to send it to the workshop. Went there and we were told that the servicing charge is only RM60. Well, good and fine, so we left the car and went back. Then there is call from the workshop saying that we need to change the water tank and this would cost us RM450 inclusive of the servicing charges. What can we do except to agree to it. After bargaining, the shop agreed to lower it to RM420. Much to our surprise, we received another call once the water tank is changed. It seems that there is an additional cost as the water tank cover has to be paid separately. That is an additional RM25. We felt cheated but helpless too. Wifey did online search and found out that some water tank models does not come together with the cover. That gives the benefit of the doubt to the shop. Anyway, I don't think I want to send my car to the shop in the future. Will try out other shops.

What do you want to watch?

A friend of mine sent an email with various links on the politicians of this country. These are video clips links that are uploaded in YouTube. Very seldom I watched this country's politicians in actions. What I saw is indeed worrisome and unbecoming of a nation's leader. As much as there is progress in the country under the current government, some of the leaders conduct shows lack of integrity, self-control and humility.

I guess there are many things that can be seen in YouTube. If you want to watch the negative aspects of a leader, there are plenty of video clips on that. Even if you want to watch Las Vegas Shows you can even find it online. It may not be as good as experiencing it yourself at Sin City but my point is that you can find it online. So what do you want to watch. Be careful as what you watch will have an effect on you. Choose carefully.

Wedding finger....interesting thoughts

Why should the wedding ring be worn on the fourth finger?

There is a beautiful and convincing explanation given by the Chinese.....

Thumb represents your Parents
Second (Index) finger represents your Siblings
Middle finger represents your-Self
Fourth (Ring) finger represents your Life Partner
& the Last (Little) finger represents your children

Firstly, open your palms (face to face), bend the middle fingers and hold them together - back to back Secondly, open and hold the remaining three fingers and the thumb - tip to tip.

Now, try to separate your thumbs (representing the parents)..., they will open, because your parents are not destined to live with you lifelong, and have to leave you sooner or later.

Please join your thumbs as before and separate your Index fingers (representing siblings)... ., they will also open, because your brothers and sisters will have their own families and will have to lead their own separate lives.

Now join the Index fingers and separate your Little fingers (representing your children)... ., they will open too, because the children also will get married and settle down on their own some day.

Finally, join your Little fingers, and try to separate your Ring fingers (representing your spouse).

You will be surprised to see that you just CANNOT....., because Husband & Wife have to remain together all their lives - through thick and thin!!

Please try this out......... ISN'T THIS A LOVELY THEORY?

Penelope

In a world where beauty is perceived as one of the most valuable assets a girl can have, we find that many are drawn and trapped in unrealistic expectations of others. Indeed, we find many girls struggle with this unnecessary and unrealistic expectations to be beautiful. And Penelope is one of them. Born into a rich family where life should be great and without worries, she has to find her true self. Literally cursed with the Wilhern spell, she has a hideous nose that she has to bear with. The good news is that the curse can be broken, only if she finds love. The viewers are taken into her life's journey to find the true meaning of love and life.

I guess each one of us can identify with Penelope. There are many things about ourselves that we may not like. We have to struggle with our "hideousness" and hopefully, like Penelope, we too can find peace with it. This movie would be a great movie to watch. Bring your daughters to watch it if you can (it is showing beginning Feb 29th) and use it a good opportunity to teach them the true meaning of beauty.

If you want to know more about Penelope before watching the movie, check out this link.

Muslim leaders oppose ban

MUSLIM community leaders have spoken out against a school’s attempt to ban non-halal food from its canteen, calling the move a step backwards for the community.

Ridzuan Wu, chairman of the Centre for Contemporary Islamic Studies, which promotes conversations between different religious groups, said: “I think we’ve come to that stage in Singapore when it’s really not practical to look at things in such a narrow way.”

A furore started when Boon Lay Garden Primary School wrote to parents last Friday, saying that only halal food could be eaten or taken into its canteen, which sells only halal food.

The announcement upset non-Muslim parents, who felt it smacked of discrimination. The school said on Monday that it had made a mistake and will not go ahead with the move.

Yesterday, religious leaders said it was not wrong for Muslims and non-Muslims to dine together, as long as Muslims eat halal food.

Religious leaders and school principals The Straits Times spoke to all pointed to the need for more education to avoid misunderstandings. – The Straits Times / Asia News Network

Consfiscation of English Bibles in Malaysia

MAJLIS GEREJA-GEREJA MALAYSIA
COUNCIL OF CHURCHES OF MALAYSIA

“United to build and to be a Blessing”
PRESS STATEMENT CONFISCATION OF ENGLISH BIBLES IN MALAYSIA

It has been brought to our attention that a Malaysian Christian has suffered much spiritual anguish and indignation as she had her English Bibles confiscated by the Custom Officers at the airport (LCCT) recently, when she returned from a visit to Manila, Philippines.

The Custom Officer had insisted that the English Bibles had to be sent to the Internal Security Ministry’s Control Division of Publications and Al-Quran Texts (Bahagian Kawalan Penerbitan dan Teks Al-Quran), for clearance .

The Council of Churches is flabbergasted that such acts are happening in our country with such frequency and impunity. We want to state categorically that the Bible is Holy Scripture for Christians. No authority on earth should deny Christians the right to possess, read and travel with their Bibles. The Council of Churches calls for the immediate release of the Bibles with an official apology by the Custom Department of Malaysia.

We call upon the Prime Minister, who is also the Internal Security Minister to make a clear and unequivocal statement to assure Christians in the country that they will not be subject to such harassment and that their holy books will not be subject to the scrutiny of the Control Division of Publications and Al-Quran Texts of the Internal Security Ministry. For a country that has celebrated, cultivated and sustained fifty years of religious freedom and harmonious living between all faith communities, this latest episode is another example of how the unilateral actions of certain government agencies are undermining the government’s stated claims of protecting religious freedom in the country.

Rev. Dr. Hermen Shastri,
General Secretary
Council of Churches of Malaysia

CNY celebrations

Chinese New Year is here. Getting wishes from friends through SMS and emails. No longer the actual CNY cards received but mostly through the Net. Well, looks like times are changing and the ways to greet friends also changes. Not that I mind not having the actual CNY cards as most of it would be in the rubbish bin within a week. It is just that receiving CNY greetings through the Net is even a waste of effort for all the senders. Only and only if I know that there would be personal words of greetings, then only I would be bothered to open it. If I know it is only a forwarded CNY greetings, then it is deleted immediately.

Talking about CNY celebrations, I am not so sure how the celebrations would be like this year. Of course there would be the red colored packets or Ang Pau that would be changing hands between the parents. I recalled that there was one year, I received not red colored but gold colored packets. There is no gold inside it, just the same expected amount of money. I do hope however that this CNY would be an enjoyable and less tiring event.

PRESS STATEMENT

Hands Off our Bibles

The Christian Federation of Malaysia registers its protest in the strongest terms, at the action of a Custom Officer at LCCT, who confiscated 32 English Bibles belonging to a Christian, who was bringing it from Manila for use in her church.

The reason given by the Custom Officer is that since it is the Bible, it needs to be cleared by the Internal Security Ministry’s Control Division of Publications and Al-Quran Texts.

Since when has English Bibles become a "security issue" in our country?

Why is it, the said Control Division is amassing such rights to itself that allow Muslim civil bureaucrats to decide for Christians what religious material they can read, or bring into the country?

We have received many complaints from Christians being told to hand over religious books to custom officers at various checkpoints in the country. Now they even want our Bibles!

The Bible is our holy and sacred book. We will not comply with any directive from government or its agencies that infringe on our right to use our sacred book and other Christian literature.

We appreciate that the Deputy Minister of Internal Security, YB Dato’ Fu Ah Kiow has taken action to have the Bibles returned to the person concerned, explaining that the Customs officer had no such authority to seize the Bibles.

But in view of the fact that this is not an isolated case, we call upon YB Dato’ Fu to come up with a directive restraining all government agencies from future harassment especially by the internal security enforcement officers.

In the run-up to the National Elections, it is important for the churches to be convinced that the policy of the Barisan Nasional guarantees religious freedom and would not tolerate any actions that undermine the religious rights of all citizens of Malaysia.

Psalm 23 -- explained

I got this from an email. Finds it very interesting and would like to share in this post.

This is an eye opener... Some probably never thought nor looked at this
Psalm in this way... even though they say it over and over again ..

The Lord is my Shepherd
That's Relationship!

I shall not want
That's Supply!

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures.
That's Rest!

He leadeth me beside the still waters.
That's Refreshment!

He restoreth my soul
That's Healing!

He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness.
That's Guidance!

For His name sake
That's Purpose!

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death.
That's Testing!

I will fear no evil.
That's Protection!

For Thou art with me
That's Faithfulness!

Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me,
That's Discipline!

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
That's Hope!

Thou anointest my head with oil,
That's Consecration!

My cup runneth over.
That's Abundance!

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life.
That's Blessing!

And I will dwell in the house of the Lord.
That's Security!

Forever
That's Eternity!

Local marketing magazine..where art thou?

Do we have Malacca Magazine? If yes, how come I never receive one before??? It will be good if the state government would print one then I can advertise my internet cafe there and get more business.

They should follow what Denver Magazine is doing. Publishing about local business, political and cultural buzz. It helps reader know what happening in their city.

We only have the nation newspaper with only a small column about a certain state one time a week. So we are not up to date on what's happening to our city. I wonder where the tax payer money gone too?

Crisis of beliefs - Part two

It took me a few weeks last December in this crisis of beliefs. My beliefs that God can provide for me and that God wants me to obey Him was put to the fire. How can I say the God can provide when carnally I trusted on the Sunday sales. How can I show to God that I am willing to obey His commands when I continued to work on Sundays and not having a day of rest for me and the business. It is indeed a time of crisis of beliefs.

At last, I know that I can do nothing else but to obey. The God who has been there for me in the past will always be there for me now and in the future. He convicted my spirit and faith that if I obey His commands (which actually for my own good), then He would take care of my needs. At times, things may look bad but I know who hold my future. He wants the best for me so whatever happens it would be for my own good.

Crisis of belief - Part one

Often times when we are tested in our faith for God, there will be a crisis of beliefs. It is a time when we have to face our own beliefs and prove it with our actions. When we say that God is a provider and that He owns everything, how can that be translated into actions. Last month, I had a crisis of my beliefs of God. Throughout last year, my cybercafe business is opened on Sundays. Last December, God challenged me and took me at my beliefs of Him. It is a crisis of trusting that God can provide on one hand and that of not making sense closing on Sundays for cybercafe (where normally the income is generally the highest throughout the week).

Children is a blessing

My wife has tendered her resignation and I worried that she will spend more time spending money than making money online after she resigned. She loves visiting baby stores to look at those cute lil item even though our youngest baby is almost 20 months old. Is that a sign that she wants a baby soon? She did mention that 3 is enough but if possible, I would want at least 4 children. I think I'll tell her about LilaGuide.com. Maybe from reading the reviews from other mommies about baby product, she would be tempted to have another baby. Hehe.

Managed to bath

One of the problems that I faced when working the WHOLE day at the shop is trying to get my bath in the evening. If there are customers at the shop, then it would be difficult for me to bath. I can't just leave the counter empty and go for my bath. What if there are customers coming into the shop and find nobody at the counter. Not good for the business. Times like these, I am very thankful and grateful for my wifey who took the efforts to come to the shop. She came not just to send me food but when she is there, I can have a quick shower. It is very refreshing to be able to bath when I am there for more than 8 hours. Thank you dear for coming to the rescue.

Thanks for the Essentials

When I am busy at work and had a tiring day, I am thankful to God for sustaining my health. Of course, I am grateful that with Usana Essentials, I managed to keep my body immune system on the healthy level. I am sure that if without the Essentials, my body will lack the necessary amount of nutritions needed to maintain good health. Been taking the Essentials twice a day throughout this week Had to do that or else I will fall sick easily due to the long hours of work. Thank you Lord for the supplements.

Watch or Play

I am a sportsman. I love sports; playing them and coaching others to play the game. However I am not a spectator. I prefer to be out there sweating it out because now, I take sports more as a form of exercise rather than competition. If some one where to give me a dozen Miami Heat Tickets, I think I would sell them to Premium Seats USA and use the money to pay for the sports centre fee where I can play the game myself.

I wonder whether Premium Seats USA would want to buy from me since they have huge selection of first-class tickets to all concerts, sports and theater events nationwide. Anyway, no harm trying right? Hehe.

Lack of sleep

This past one week has been a very tiring week. I have been working at the shop everyday from morning till midnight. Woke up in the morning, eat breakfast which is normally a mug of oat and then off I go to work. At the shop, do the mopping and cleaning of the shop before waiting for customers to come in. Had to be there until 12 midnite or normally after 1am. Then went back home, sleep and start the new day all over again. Manage to sleep only for less than 7 hours. Now feeling very tired and sleepy.
